South Park

#

Started by Superunknown

I just watched some episode from the latest season and I’m stunned how this show just doesn’t get worse. They keep finding a relevant subject to make fun of (like George Clooney’s acceptance speech at the Oscar’s). The Simpsons didn’t hold up that well ten years into the show. What do you think?

FACT!

Even Family Guy, which is only in Season 4, has started to suck. South Park is still going strong in Season 10.

Well the Simpsons is 17 years running so I won’t comment on that I love the way South Park comes up with new characters and how they blend into the show and whenever something topical comes up in america they have a story line for it.

One does wonder how Trey and Matt come up with so much Jew jokes for Cartman.

I’m just watching the double episode “Cartoon Wars”. It’s so brilliant how they pick up on the whole Muhammed cartoon thing, make fun of “Family Guy” and get back at Tom Cruise and Isaac Hayes for critizising their parody of Scientology all IN ONE GO. Genius!

Indeed, thats how I’ve seen the Scientology one as thanks to Tom Cruise it will never be shown on UK TV.

South Park is still raw and funny. Shame that Channel 4/S4C hardly them anymore. How about a film where the boys are in the UK, that might be a laugh.

Uh, no, 4.

This is something argued over all over the internet. We’re still in Season 4.

Do you see any references to a Season 5? No? Could that be because it’s not been started yet?

The ones I’ve seen either say “Volume 3” or “Season 4”. I couldn’t find the one you mentioned (“Complete Season 4”), how many episodes are there on it? 13? They’re bringing out another DVD for Season 4 later this year, y’know… with the remaining 17 episodes on it.

South Park is fucking amazing, so many stupidly funny storylines, and awesome charaters, like Randy a drunk hypercondriac, and Cartman the most manipulative selfish arsehole ever, like in the newest episode where he handcuffed some kids leg to the school flag pole and gave the kid a hacksaw and told him that his milk had been poisoned and the only way to reach the antidote in time was to saw his leg off all because the kid called him Chubby, or the time he ground up some kids parents and fed it to the kid.

Season 4 and 5 were made as one season but split up by tv networks, so season 4 volume 2 on dvd will be season 5 on tv.

Btw, I’m feeling ripped-off that they first released the last three episodes of this season as The Family Guy Movie as a straight-to-DVD film and now they’re just airing the three parts for free as the season finale :(
