Can I tell you something about the drummer of Korn?
In Modern Drummer he said that in between making Korn and Life is Peachy he didnt touch the drums once for practise.
What a prick! A talented one but a prick. Why the hell is he a drummer if he never wants to practise. I swear the guy is stupid, all that fucking talent and he doesnt hone(spelling?) it. I hate musicians that do it for a living and put no effort into practising meanwhile there is some kid in a basement somewhere practising his ase off wishing and deserving the success David Silveira has. Their singer became a right twat on Follo the leader too. If you’re looking for fake annoying whining listen to follow the leader’s vocals.
But I guess that’s enough whining for me, but they really are a silly band. :)
Whats the point of judging someone for that? There’s always gonna be people who are more boring, ugly, stupid, whiny and slow in front of you in a queue of people and there’s nowt you can do about it! Its life my friend!!
I thought korn were great in those days - the metal scene was dead. Metallica wore make up and all the other big bands were dying - korn made it good again, whatever u think about the music.

one cure fits all - one minute silence. Absolute dross! Kerrang! said it was better and rawer than their 1st album and it turned out to be lacking in musical ideas with a terrible ‘techno’ prodution.
Should have taken it back but i kept listening in the hope i would grow to like it. After 2 years i lobbed it in the bin!! :)

I did actually notice that, and thought to myself “I don’t remember them releasing anything with that title”. Then my mind wondered to something more interesting than OMS… possibly what I was gonna have for dinner that day.

i think you had to be a teenager in 1970s America to “get” Kiss to be fair. They’ve never done anything for me. And i’ve been into some right shit in my time! :D

I’d have loved to have been at that meeting:
Gene: Right, boys, i’m gonna be made up like a demon of some kind, i’m gonna be breathing fire and terrifying audiences with fake blood and the like.
Paul: Yeah, i’m gonna be a star child. Think outer space and other worldly-ness. I’m all mystical and shit.
Peter: …any ideas for my make up lads?
(Gene and Paul huddle up and discuss for a few seconds)
Gene: Pete, mate…ever seen bagpuss?

Some kind of ‘musicians’ album called ‘love and money’ by a Toto kind of band of which I don’t know the name anymore. I gave it away to a colleague of mine, but I don’t know if he likes it. He makes the same kind of music, but I think he’s too polite to tell me the album is crap :D

It has nothing to do with judging people in a queue! The guy spoke in a drumming mag people are gonna read and have their own opinions.
Ya dig? :)

Yeah they also have designer clothing and shit dont they, they fit in very well for the pop world, you can tell by the way they give that “we’re more special than hot fudge” look in every one of their photos.

Personally, “Rocks” and “Toys In The Attic” were two of my best purchases in recent years (and yes, I know I am slightly slow to pick up them…well, thirty odd years slow, to be honest)

Ye, i was pointing out that some people have all the luck without trying and some don’t! Thats nothing to do with me telling others how to think! And no, I shouldn’t check out your other posts defending korn in that case - that WOULD be stating my opinion which you think is so wrong!!! :o
