Hello folks!

Here is the set list from last night at Tavastia Club, Helsinki, Finland on 19.4.2002;

1. Gimme Back My Brain
2. Hellbelly
3. Lonely, Cryin’, Only
4. This One’s For You
5. Die Laughing
6. Tango Romeo
7. He’s Not That Kind Of Girl
8. Stalk and Slash
9. Stories
10. Diane
11. Isolation
12. Joey
13. Knives
14. Screamager
——————-
15. I Am The Money
16. Church Of Noise
17. Potato Junkie
18. Nowhere

They also played bits of Metallica’s Master Of Puppets and Judas Priest’s Breaking The Law.

Gig itself was great, audience was shouting and the band was in really good mood. This time they took some shirts with them (last time was in -95!) so we all got us a few new T? shirt’s!!! :o)

All the lads appeared in the bar afterwards and talked with fans. Martin was the most talkative (well, to us). He said something about releasing a live DVD and cd, really hope so that it will appear in the near future… They have written a couple of new songs but unfortunately they didn’t play any this time. (like Kiss Me On The
Ghost Train back in -98).

Keith Baxter did a great job as a tourdrummer (for this tour only, as Andy said during the show) he played like Fyfe and Graham and was a nice person to talk with.

This (as well Tampere gig at Tulliklubi) was really fun, thank you very much Andy, Michael, Martin and Keith!!!!!!!!

Cheers, Marko

Hi Marko — sounds like you had a good time! Thanks for the review and the set list. I was a bit surprised to see Potato Junkie back on the list, as the guys (understandably) did not want to play this on the last European tour.

Which T-shirts were available at your gig, and which one(s) did you buy?

Yes we had a brilliant time at these two gigs!

They were really great even they played the same set list at Tampere (except Isolation was changed to Trigger Inside, even the order was the same).

The Tampere gig was more, as Andy’s words “Punk-rock”… There was a lot of stage diving because there was no fence between the band and the crowd like in Helsinki. I had to say that these two gigs were the best gigs I’ve seen since 1993 by the band. Simply because the atmosphere was so good in the crowd as we have been waiting the lads to play gigs in Scandinavia for a long time and among the band, they really seem to enjoy playing for us crazy Finns! ;-)

About the T-Shirts, they had only 3 kinds of shirts. Black “Hate*Kill*Destroy” in front with german text on the back,
Black “Heavyfuckingmetal” in front with big questionmark with word “Irony” on back and the third one was blue (!) with Gemil in colour in front and Marshall type Therapy? logo on back. It was nice that Diamond Dave was this time with the band (they didn’t left him waiting in the Sweden… ;o) He is truly great fellow!
I bought the blue one and “Hate…” but I sure hope that I don’t have to wait another 7 year to get my T? shirts updated… ;-)

I have to say that Keith Baxter did EXELLENT job as he filled Fyfe’s & Graham’s BIG shoes. He really played GOOD! This opinion is just growing more stonger after seeing these gigs afterwards. He just simply should quit his dayjob and ask a permanent job on Therapy? ;-)

I thank ALL the people who were at these gigs, especially Minna (Luv ya!), Pete (Champagne for my real friends!), Kati (for making this good feeling to last forever with VCR’s) and Pasi P. (for the setlists!)
Thank you!!!

Finland both venues were packed full… Tavastia can take 600 people in. In Tampere Tulli-Klubi can handle about 400 and it was also near full. Dunno the exact numbers, Martin & Andy said that here in Finland the audience was the best in this tour, but they says that always they’re here… ;-)

Title: Helsinki and Tampere

The shows were just great! The atmosphere on the both gigs was brilliant. Even the youngsters of the audiences seemed to know the words of the older songs.

The Tampere gig was like a “dream come to true” for me cause I have always wished that came and played here. And it became true.
Thanks for Marko and Minna shearing the both gigs with me and Kati.

And it was relly great to meet Andy and the guys before and after the gigs, just great guys and no rockstar bullshit. Andy told me that possibly before christmas, there will be an E.P. out so let´s hope that we don´t have to wait for new material til 2003. Hopefully they will come to some finnish festival next summer. Tammerfest here in Tampere would just be great!

here is the setlist they played in aalborg :

*gimme back my brain
*hellbelly
*lonely cryin´only
*this one´s for you
*die laughing
*tango romeo
*he´s not that kind of girl
*stalk and slash
*isolation
*diane
*joey
*knives
*screamager
*10 year plan

-encore-
*i am the money
*church of noise
*potato junkie
*nowhere
——————————

i really felt sorry for them when i saw those 50 or 60 people in esbjerg… i mean it was the first show of the scandinavian tour…
T? also didn´t play all the songs on the setlist but i must say that i liked the atmosphere much better then in aalborg ( there were about 200 or 300 people ) - maybe because andy dedicated a song to me and my friends :-).
keith told me that it was ok for him that there were so few people in esbjerg as it was his first show and he was ( understandably ) a bit nervous.
as far as i could hear it, he played a bit fast and also made some mistakes, but as i don`t play drums i actually can´t say that much about how he played :-)

thank you therapy?, dave, iris and martin for those 2 great days!!

Title: sneaking in the youthhostel

Yes I also had a great time. I also thought Keith played a bit faster, but as I also don’t play drums, so I’m not to sure.
We had a great time before, during and after the concert with Mareike (Irishlady) & Martin and Nick and his friend Dave. I also met the owner of the Therapy? van (also seen in the onlay of SMFO10YP), I forgot his name, but I do remember Andy saying his name on stage. And even after the after… it was nice to sneak Mareike and Martin into the youthhostel where we slept, we where very worried to be spotted, but we had a great time. Had some nice breakfast in the morning… then I left for Holland and Mareike & Martin and Nick & (not Diamond) Dave went to the next club, while I went home… SNIF
Thanks, Iris

haha, yes, the night in the youthhostel was great, iris!!
esp. when those 4 girls were already sleeping, and we had to get that ” emergency ” bed out :-)
thank you once again!!
it was also great when iris, martin and me were talking to martin ( T? )-will never forget that talk!
it´s a pity that you haven´t been in aalborg, but hey, the next tour is coming for sure :-)

looking foward to seeing you next week, i will bring the photos of denmark!! :-)

But i would like to know a bit more about the drummer
(stuff like drumkit brand name, big drumset or small one , and how did people enjoy the way he was playing,…)
I may sound a bit weird asking that but …whatever

As i didn’t say it yet: cheers for this new forum !!
