I didn’t even know GNR were playing here. If T? are headlining the 2nd stage, will they clash with GNR? If so, I don’t fancy the lads chances of getting a crowd.
Why are FFAF on the main stage? Looks a poor line-up to be fair. I think I’ll avoid this one.

no, i imagine when GNR are playing the other stages will be closed/finished. but i do hope they have a good enough gap between therapy? finishing and GNR starting.
I was actualy looking forward to seeing ffaf and b4mv :o but if therapy? are playing at the same time then im afraid its the larne boys everytime!!!

I just had this confirmed, and have added it to the tour page. T? will headline the second stage before GN’R headline the main stage. I don’t know what the exact time schedule is, but as I understand it, T? will be done before GN’R goes on stage.

excellent..although i imagine as soon as t? finish there’ll still be a mad dash to avoid the hold up in the entrances to the main field.

Err… everybody except you? ;) I think most people are curious and want to see Axl and his band, after all he is an (ex-)rock legend and they play great music too. I can’t be there, but I envy Irish people seeing Therapy? and GNR one after the other. But I will see both band playing here in Hungary in May and in August, so I’m not so sad. :)

I’ve seen METALLICA the last 2 times they were here. First gig was excellent. But the second one was a bit of a let-down.
Not really interested in checking out Axl Rose Band. Would love to see T?, but the rest of the line-up, so far, doesn’t really appeal to me.
Plus! OPETH are playing in Dublin on the 12th. And I really want to see them live. So I think that’s the one for me. Especially since I’m travelling from Cork. To go up and down to Dublin twice in one weekend would be a bit much.
But who knows! I might get a fit and go anyway!
So how much are the tickets?

Already bought a ticket just to see GNR and now with T? also being there… what a day it will be.
Apparently T? will finish up before GNR hit the stage. Not sure how they will have everything mapped out, but getting a good spot at the RDS is usually not an issue.

I’m off to get my tickets for the Friday of Download now.
They’re EUR.64,50 which is a tad expensive if you just want to see T?. But I don’t want to miss this one in my hometown , no matter who else plays.
As for Axl and whoever is left of G’n’R , not sure if I stick around for that one. My love for them ( if ever one ) has waned ever since the good days but they might still play some of the tunes I do like.

I´ll see GNR (if you can call it GNR) maby you could call it “Axl Rose On GNR” here in Finland on the 6th of july. Bullet for my Valentine is supporting. Saw GNR last time 1991 when it was almost the “original” lineup they had. Had good fun then, hopefully this time too:)

:) I´m not “slating” them. Axl is the voice, oh yes, but there was more of them in “GNR”; Duff, Slash,Izzy and Steven (better than that Cult drummer, they mad the “real” GNR for me, and that´s my opinion.
Does this “Buckethead” still play in this new “refreshed version” of GNR?
Of the new songs, that “Madagasgar” one is REALLY GOOD song, I like it alot!
