British television

I live in South Africa and watch satellite TV and we get BBC Prime. Is BBC prime something the UK get usually for TV? I think you guys should be proud of the quality of that channel it’s really exceptional, I mean so many interesting programmes on one channel and of course the weakest link.
What channels d you have in the UK? Is it BBC 1,2 and 3 and ITV right? Sorry it’s been a long time since I was tere but when I was there somebody said that British TV had gone down the drain completely. Judging by BBC Prime, far off.

Yes, BBC1, 2, 3, and ITV. BBC3 is quite new and just shows continuous looping episodes of Benny Hill.

Who is Benny Hill sounds like a race car driver. I cant believe I fucking guessed it right that you have ITV after all these years of not being in your country. Absolute genius I am!
I hear you still get the Simpsons?

Benny Hill was a fat comedian from the 1970s who used to chase women in kinky nurses outfits around parks - quickly. People knock him now but they’re not aware of the fact he was being ironic. Way ahead of his time was Benny Hill (RIP).

There were massive debates on here about With Teeth. I couldn’t be bothered joining in :) But just for the record - didn’t think it was any good :)

really? i have to admit, the songs were not as unique as from the previous albums. it sounded too mainstream. trent reznor is still amazing though. :)

Sounding mainstream wasn’t the problem for me (I thought The Hand That Feeds was an excellent song) - it was just that the other songs weren’t very good.

BBC Prime is the International BBC channel and broadcasts a mix of BBC 1 and BBC 2 programmes. Unfortunately for me they mainly pick bad ones and the few good ones, like [spooks] is transmitted Sundays at midnight :(

Yeah, you gotta have digital. Still, having those channels on cable is pretty good.

And I didn’t mention Eurosport, MTV etc.. cos they’re just shite.
