Most concerthalls in Holland are better than our belgian concerthalls in my opinion… I don’t think Vooruit is better than the AB. The best hall in Holland I’ve been to is the Mezz in Breda… a bit small though

I’ve never been to a T? gig.

But, if you can get 10,000 people in the Odyssey Arena, Belfast, you’re in for a good night.

For Therapy?, I’d say Mandella Hall, Belfast is their best place for gigs…

But what do I know? :D

I saw Editors play there and the atmosphere and sound were just right. Near perfection.

The ocean in Hackney was one of the best ones sound wise i have been to as they designed so it sounds great. I saw T? there on the shameless tour and it was brilliant..also no security and no problems.

well, i am biased cos its my nearest venue, but i LOVE the civic hall and wulfren hall in Wolverhampton. Great sound, great views. Oh, and folk keep falling off the balcony, which is great comedy value.

I’d really love to see them do an incredibly loud gig in the Charlatan, a small venue in Ghent. It’s a place with many faces (crappy disco musicdancingbar, gay pick-up place, m’a tu vu hangaround for the unfamous and so on) but their soundsystem is very good for live gigs.

Jesu will play there in a couple of weeks.
Pink mountaintops and black mountain tonight. (And I’m here bummer)

Anyway if they do, I want to know first cause it takes only 2 or threehundred people.

The new and improved Effenaar is the place to be 4 the guys. It’s big, but still intimate and the sound… oh my god the sound is awesome in the big hall! The smaller one is ok as well…check http://www.effenaar.nl

For Therapy? in Dublin…

Would definitely go with the Ambassador. Perfect size (fits about 2k crowd), you can see the stage no matter where you stand, have easy access to the bar without having to leave the venue etc…

They played there the last time (was my Birthday :)) and hope they play there again.

Fully agree about the Ambassador being the best venue in Dublin. The Village where they played some years ago just had this weird outlay.

What annoys me in Dublin though is the over the top security. At The Village anyone that was even attempting to have a good time was thrown out and in The Ambassador they physically try to get you outside as soon as the last note is played.
The cloakroom is so small there’s a huge queue anyway , so why don’t they let people stay inside and finish their beer in peace while the queue gets shorter ?
One of these days one of these frusty bouncers is gonna be on the receiving end of one of my bitchslaps !

Barrowland in Glasgow for me has been the best venue for a T? gig. The G2 gig recently was great for the intimacy, but the whole “Barras” experience is something special!
