One of the better songs on OCFA. It’s also got the best lyrics on the album along with “Sprung”.

How does that work???

I find it to be a very moody song - can only listen to it when in a certain mood.

Like that Neil is putting that second bass drum to good use on this track - wish he would do it more often…

Uh no. It’s not exactly November Rain is it?

Cool song though, one that fits nicely into the flow of the album, not a stand out track on OCFA for me though.

Favourite song on OCFA. Great tune. Reminds me of Polar Bear a little. Obviously not as good as Polar Bear, but what the hell is?*

*Purely rhetorical question. Thus, any attempt to say what IS in fact better than Polar Bear to express your opinions on a)Polar Bear or b) another song you think is better or c) Both, is rendered null and void from this point forward. So there.

Unconsoled; class tune.

It has my favourite lyric from the album “I haven’t seen you for years, but I think about you everyday”.

Was this a Ricky Warwick quote, or was it just direct at him? (check Andy’s story about the song).

For some reason, when i listened to Unconsoled today, I had the idea that I would’ve much prefered the lyric to have been written in the third person than the first. Dunno why. It seems a bit too simplistic a lyric otherwise, for me, chorus-wise, anyhow.
