Started by nice guys in Other Bands & Artists

Have you ever heard of a band called THROAT? A good friend of mine who works for World Of Music, a big German music store, told me that Andy is kinda involved into this band and even sings one of their songs. Gonna get the CD next week…

Well, System of a down are cool, but most of the Papa-Roach-rest is just boring… but that´s just my personal opinion.

Throat were much better, to me anyway. I’ve been meaning to buy there album since then, this thread just reminded me.

At the gig Andy said that Throats singer/guitarist was just out of prison for armed robbery and is trying to get his life back but thats all i know about them. Anyone know anything more about em?

the unfortunately now defunct throat have released about 20 recordings for free download at http://www.throatmusic.com that were going to be used for the second album. you can also download their debut, which features mr cairns on gleason (track 8 i think), for free!
i caught them supporting wilt a few years ago in the underworld london. class band could’ve gone far i think.
