I noticed the guitar riff similarity.

“Trigger Inside” at 2:45
“Black eye purple sky” at 1:48
“Heart beat hits” at 0:13

seems to be one of andy´s fav riffs? ;)

 I said in an earlier thread that I considered that part of HBH was “borrowed” from the mid-section of Trigger Inside - good to see I have someone in agreement!

There’s a break in Joey and, I think, Straight Life, where you can just hear the bass. Both sound very similar.

I found this out by accident. I recorded both Shameless and Semi-Detatched onto each side of a tape, way before the days of my MP3 player.
Part of the way through Joey, just after the bass part, I switched the tape over and it was the bass part of Straight Life, which I realised sounded very similar. What are the chances?
