I use a classical guitar and I juyst gotta say that these guitarists that play strings 45and 6 and bend them like pain alot. Are electrics as awful? Well the strings are thinner definitely.
Im gonna get my elctric stringed and evrything and play on that it’s time for me to move on to stadium rock haha.

i don’t think classical guitar strings and technique are really made for bending. Electrics are much better and don’t take much effort - unless you want to be Eric Clapton, the dodgy blues player!

Andy’s aren’t… or at least they weren’t for Nurse, NANE and HA (and subsequent tours). He used .12s and you get used to it. I find classical guitars pretty easy to bend… but then I’m used to bending on a bass. Fun.

I wonder if Andy uses .12s on all his guitars. I know why he’d use them when he tunes down because they stay in tune longer (and are pretty easy to bend)

If uses them on his standard tuned guitars he must have some ham hands :D

He used to, but it warped the neck on his Telecaster. Think he uses .10s for standard tuning now?
