I smoked cigarettes for about 3 years and gave up on January 11th this year.

I still smoke shisha on occasion; although at the moment I need coals, molasses, new hoses, a seal, tongs, a new bowl… er I just need to replace my whole hookah actually.

I’ve never touched a fag. Not even tried it.

Ciggarettes were created by te government to put taxes on so we’d all give them money and to put our health at risk so we might die before they have to give us our pensions. dont fund the machine people.

I quit over seven years ago, when I had been smoking for three or four years. Can’t even stand the smell anymore. :)

I have smoked for about 23 years now, have tried to quit many, many times, but a bad habbit is a bad habbit:(. Don´t start smoking, it´s like heroin, it crabs your little finger first, then your whole hand!

I’ve never smoked and i can’t wait for smoking ban in Northern Ireland,i was in a pub in the Republic a few months back it was brilliant not breathing in any smoke.

I’m smoking for 8 years now and really need to quit, but well, it’s a drug so that might take some time. Maybe tomorow :rolleyes:

Not a smoker myself , maybe one a month when I have a bit of a cold.
And maybe the old doobie at a party , but then again I’m Dutch and that doesn’t really count as smoking , does it ?

I’ve smoked about 15 cigs a day for 8 years.

You know, even though I’m a smoker, I think you’re right. It’s more pleasant without smoke in a pub especially when eating, and it’s an added incentive to give up.

But you know pub chains are spending millions on creating nice little heated areas outside for smokers… although I still don’t think that’s going to help in a blizzard in January with a gale-force wind. How’re you even light the thing, let alone smoke it…:D

I’m a smoker, I geuss. For about a year now and I’m 19… it was a mature decision. Look, it’s pleasant, fun, cool (undeniably cool!) and plently of people do it into their 90s. With my diet, and family record for heart atacks, I’m NEVER gonna live that long anyway. The average smoker lives 6 years less than their non-smoking counterparts. I mean, 6 years? SHIT! I’ll live to be 75 instead of 81?! Dear God no! Man, every cig is 5 less minutes I need to spend in a nursing home eating mush.

Plus- can you IMAGINE what the Limelight is going to smell like after the smoking ban?
