World Cup thread

Thought I’d get in there early as I saw an interesting debate this morning in the paper.

Should the other home nations (Wales, Scotland, Norn Ireland) support England in the WC?

People were “shocked” to hear Scotland’s First Minister say he was going to support Trinidad and Tobago and Walter Smith will be supporting Italy.

I personally will be supporting Germany, as half my blood is Becks and Sausage flavoured, but I will also be rooting for anyone playing against England ;)

Should we be supporting England in their endevours to repeat 66? I’m bored.

They haven’t shut up about winning the WC in ‘66. The rugby team is still bragging about ‘03!

I’m supporting Germany & Holland, and, in answer to your question - no, the other home nations shouldn’t support England in the WC.
