like i said its a good album but also their weakest
id be happy if they did do YWTS 2 with better songs and more distortion, more catchy and less whiney
to me ywts has half the album which is amazing and half pretty average, i was disappointed when i heard ‘paperfaces’, the single version is a lot better.

i agree, and it’s a shame they’ve never done it live.
what drew me to YWTS was its diversity, and to me, the songs ARE catchy - i guess i’m just not as much of a rocker as you are - i own more sneaker pimps records than rammstein ones, for example ;)

im not saying its not catchy, some songs are catchy but some songs are a bit depressing, i think ywts was a bit rushed. its my opinion feel free to say otherwise.
echo park was better although its a bit poppy and heavy at the same time, comfort in sound was more serious sounding than echo park, but i didnt think that pushin the senses would be better than all of the above after what i heard about it, i actually considered NOT getting the album i wanted it to be heavier not softer unfortunately that was the case and it turned out to be the best album since polythene, what do u think?

i think YWTS is their best one! Not many bands make really good 2nd albums but i felt feeder pushed what they were doing just perfectly…a great mix of the fun and heavy mixed with the right ballads. I thought day in, day out and radioman were crap tho!

It’s not particulary a hard riff to write - isn’t it Just D A C G ?
What about Prosthetic Head by Green Day ? that’s from 1997.

limited edition ;) it was only available over feedershop and has sold out long ago!
…well, the cd version at least, because apparently there are still plenty vinyl copies of it left in the shop.

The new album is alright, nothing special though, 2 or 3 songs that stand out, nice to see theyve moved away from all that indie shite theyve been making recently.

Listened to the new one twice , once last night when i was trying to sleep and I thought it was pretty average and just finishing my 2nd listen and I think its better already :S strange how things change so quick.
If people want a more rock album from Feeder they’ve certainly got it , pretty much every song has a big riff, maybe too many in my opinion it just sounds a bit forced and most of the songs sounding the same and its hard to pick what the best ones are. Some really good lyrics and quite catchy once you’ve heard the majority of songs more times.
Still nowhere near as good as Polythene and YWTS. Just another decent feeder album really.
