Just saw LTJ at the Portsmouth Pyramids last night. Fantastic gig, despite the average ago of the crowd being about 8 I think.

Biggest circle pit I have ever seen at an inside venue. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a high percentage of the entire crowd jumping at the same time before. For Gainsville Rock City, I swear every single person in the room was bouncing!

Any one else a fan? Or are they a little too pop-punk for your average T? fan?

Only down side, right at the start my mate threw his plastic cup in the air and got dragged away by security and thrown out. Way harsh!

I saw LTJ at Leeds festival a couple of years ago and they had a circle pit running around the sound tower which was a sight to behold - they’re pretty good, really catchy some of their stuff but no real meat to the music

They were filming their bit for the 2003 Warped Tour DVD when I went, and there was a huge circle pit around the sound cage, where they were hiding some of the cameras.

I should have bought the DVD to see if I could see myself.

LTJ are a great party band, good music, nobody complains..but I agree with caffinebomb, their stuff is not exactly deep.

Title: LTJ

Just wanted to say I was at the Pyramids that night too.I noticed it took 6 of those security muppets to take your mate out.I had a similar experience there ironically when I saw T? there last;I was wrongly accused of using substances & had the fullest of searches.Nothing was found & a begrudging apology. As for LTJ,theyre always amazing live & pretty good on record too, apart from Greased which is pony!

That totally sucks about being treated harshly by those Nazis.
I do like LTJ, have seen them 3 times and they have always been highly entertaining, great tunes too!
Even funnier is that funny dance that the ska kids do which looks like skiing on the spot. You gotta laugh at those muppets!
Does anyone know where/why this craze originated? I would be most interested in finding out!

:o Ska was invented by Doctor John Ska in the early 70’s when he got bored of listening to decent music.

Am a big fan of both LTJ and RBF. Only seen RBF once live and were pretty good. Seen LTJ loads and love them live… great for a bounce etc.
