Title: DVD

It’d be realy cool if they would, but lets face it the chances are between slim and zero. Maybe we should bombard the Churchofnoise@hotmail.com with requests for some kind of DVD???

Hey, that might be an idea worth trying! Bombarding Ark21 with DVD-requests I mean. I would surely like to see/a good T? DVD (I’m a poet and I didn’t know it (I saw the Ford Fairlane movie just last week, sorry)). Even a collection of all the promo videos would be great since I haven’t seen most of them. MTV doesn’t play them.

I just remembered an interview from arounmd the time of Suicide Pact where Andy mentioned something about a film they shot at that time, aptly titled “The Speedo Menace”. Does anyone know about it?

The Speedo Menace is floating around. Martin said that they have now about 45 to 50 minutes material but it’s not ready yet… Hopefully there will be a DVD with lots of material, even a double or triple DVD..? ;-)

The Finnish invasion!

Hmm. You might be right about Universal being the target instead of Ark21. Still, since the So Much for the Ten Year Plan was out on Ark21 might be a good sign in its favour, if you know what I mean. That’s a copyright issue anyway. I hate it when it goes down to that.

Sorry that I’m confusing you all. What I meant with that we should contact Universal Music than Ark21 is because Martin told us that the band is no more with Ark21… Andy said something that they have a distribution contract (is like that..?) with Universal Music.

What about a boxset say a double dvd of a live show and all their videos with interveiws etc as extras and a cd of demos/b-sides or remastered tracks?

Martin told at the scandinavian tour and Andy said about that distribution deal. It seems to me that Ark21 was the same as A&M. They didn’t support the band as they’ve should have…

At least when they were on AM records we got posters and they used to play the university circuits with their usual tours (in the UK anyway). Now we don’t get any posters, videos, merchandise thats worth havin etc. Man I wish ARk21/Universal would get their finger out.

If you want a CDR of Therapy? Acoustic Concert ( Live @ Crossing Border), email “millhouz@seznam.cz”
He’s willing to trade for other CDR’s of live shows, or will sell a copy for 5euro.

ive found that bombarding record companies with requests has about as much effect as using a stale peice of toast to repel nuclear warheads. (although, if you’ve ever been in my kitchen you may have more reason to doubt that statement!)

if the band have the needed material (vids.ints.live performances etc) its not difficult (technically) to do a bootleg/low volume video. they’d probably get a better cut of the profits too, the record companies wouldnt get much money, we’d get a better product and mice wouldnt eat so much cheese on a tuesday.

anyhow, there probably isnt the demand for a T? DVD/VHS that would warrant record company intrest. as much as we love them, they’re hardly gonna shift the units that Ms Spears manages to.

perhaps find an indie distributor to do it, not a major?

i dunno, they’re just ideas.

have a happy monday!
