I can’t remember the exact day but it was a shit one all round as it was the Essential Festival in Bristol which t? were supposed to be playing but didn’t. Maybe I was just in a generally bad mood that day.

Any of the following are great
Twisted by Design, Element of Sonic Defiance EP (except for the very first song), American Paradox, or the latest Exile in Oblivion.

Normally I wouldn’t recommend a live album to a first timer, but Live in a Dive is REAL strong. It has a good mix of material up through American Paradox. It let’s you hear how talented and tight they are. Great cover of Bark at the Moon.

Their oldest stuff (Skinny Years, & Another Day in Paradise) is pretty straight forward hardcore, nothing too special. But over each album they get more progressive, and a little more metal, yet still deliver some catchy hooks.

I think if we were to nominate a nu-metal album it would have to be linkin park or significant other - Korn by Korn is not 3 bad - too early like!

PS Would you like some shit - I have a spare nappy full lying around to give to someone who says something heretical like that…;)

Well I guess adding shit to the recipe wouldn’t really change the flavur or the appearance.
