After he left T?, he played in a band called The Divers for a while. If you use the search option on this site, you should be able to find other threads in which the same question you ask is answered. I don’t know what he’s doing now.

No offence taken my man, we played a lot harder back in those days and might start playing that way again! thanks for listening. As for the tub thumper, I cant really say much to respect his privacy etc but we had a jam a while back and he aint lost his magic ;)He’s a great guy and a joy to play with.

Cool dude, harder is good :) The vocals are mixed a bit more upfront and clearer in the new stuff. I’m coming from a professional point of view, I’ve always liked stuff where the performance counts and the energy is still there. So you guys signed again, any releases in the pipe line?

I hear you totally Divers, appreciate your professional ears. We’re back to a three piece after years of farting around trying new stuff, I guess you have to go through all that crap to find what really works. Should be playing again soon in London, havent even thought about labels yet, gets in the way of the fun.

Excellent mate… dealing with labels can be an arse. Well keep us all informed about gigs and stuff, and i will try and catch you in London when you do:)

Damn it, the Divers myspace page has been taken down. I only saw this thread today (thanks to souldoubt for linking to it in the ‘Fyfe Ewing’ thread), so I never heard their new stuff. Did their page mention Fyfe at all?

It said a small bit in the bio… just a passing reference to the E.P and that he played on it.

It’s a shame as i downloaded the new tunes and thought they were alright and was waiting to hear from the singer about their next gigs.

Just really bumping this topic back up.

Has anyone got those ‘new’ tracks that were downloadable on the Divers page? I’d like to get them.

I have transferred the 2 tracks that were on their first release (a split 7”) from vinyl to cdr, and also have the “Chevron” cd single, if anyone wants the tracks. I thought they were a good band, including the stuff that Fyfe doesn’t play on. I’d be interested to know if they’ve released anything recently.
