Sleep and getting some very exciting post this morning kept me away.

How are you, Mrs H?

Exciting post, that’s a rather strange concept…

My most interesting post tends to be bank statements. Oh, and Mrs H sent me a postcard a few weeks ago:)

Yeah, in all fairness, mine was as exciting as a bank statement, just some results. Still, good news :)

What did the postcard say?

Morning simon, weekend was surprisingly not too bad. And yours?

..back from the grave:)
My Juhannus went just fine, and this time I drank a lot of Koff and cheap Lidl cider;). You know Pogue, I was born in Rovaniemi so when I grew up I used to drink Lapin Kulta as milk:D so you know now why I prefer it:P
Yees, Karhu is excellent too, you´re right!
I think Lem should only drink minerals and that kinda stuff these days.

I keep scrutinising my bank statements, but I haven’t managed to find out yet whether I’ve passed or not:)

The postcard, surprisingly enough, was written in a sarcastic fashion, and Mrs H managed to make fun of me in an ironic way when referring to Somerset roads. (The postcard was a map of West Somerset)

She ended up staying over which was an extra surprise:)

Igor, my methodology is, if the end balance starts with “£-” you’ve passed, and done really well! That or taking bets from friends on how overdrawn you are seems to make the pain of opening them a bit more fun.

Not all of my results… only a couple of pieces of coursework (and they said working at 5am drunk doesn’t pay off pfft), I find out about my exams on Friday, (I know I’m going to have to resit 2 anyway, so it’s a case of how many others)

Bham was ok, mainly the relief that I will never have to move in and out of a 12th floor flat again. I showed some pics of the new place to my brother who pointed out accurately that it looks like an old people’s home, oh well.

Sounds like a good weekend! I look forward to hearing the results. Where do you go from here then? More writing and practicing?

Hello Dan! How are you?

Well fingers crossed for friday, and well done on the move one more think off your mind!

The plan is to just write as much as possible and get ten really good songs that we are totally happy with before even thinking of playing live. when i have some better demos i will send peeps stuff to see what they think:)

Hi Dan yeah mate i’m really good, i liked your stuff on your site. hopefully you sort out the other tracks, have you tried burning them onto cd then ripping them as mp3’s in stead of WMA?

Well i just don’t know WHAT to do!! :D

i’ve got like 40 or 50 tracks on CDs, but when i copy those tracks onto the pc they come up as wma files. Then when i try to use that MP3 converter programme it tells me the tracks are copywrited and won’t do them! Its a taunt an’ half, i tell thee. Any ideas? Anyone?? :D

are the tracks on a audio CD (for a stereo) or Data (for the computer) if they are on a audio cd then download itunes and import them using that. Then they will be MP3’s windows machines do seem to use WMA as a standard so when you copy them then that is what they will be.

I feel your pain, I waxed my eyebrows after a few drinks, it didn’t go very well. Tell you what, I’ll book us both into a spa and we can spend the day getting it sorted, and being pampered.

And if that doesn’t work, my tattooist is pretty good, and deadlines will be the least of your worries after that.

I recommend FreeRip for ripping cds to mp3 format, it’s freeware and good. I’m yet to find a good, free and legal mp3 converter.

they’re on audio cd. I’ll try the itunes ting, thanks. I’m seriously tearing my hair out over this! so many songs!!

@Hanne: I’ll try your suggestion if itunes doesn’t work! :)
But i’ll see you before then anyway at the spar. Oh, hang on, which branch of spar, you didn’t say? Cos you’ve got a fair way to travel to come to mine.

@ Igor - it wasn’t sarcastic! I thought you would like to have your very own picture of the A361 seeing as you never shut up about motorways! :p

@ Dan - you didn’t ask me to be your friend… is it because I am old and you are ashamed to know me? *bursts into tears*
