#

Started by mothertrucker

Hey just gotten of the Motorhead website, and it seems
motorhead are having difficulties shifting tickets for their
gig in the Point on 31st October.
Clutch support Motorhead.confirmed
(Saxon rumoured)

Does anyone thing that if T? supported them that it would be the gig of the year?

True legends under one roof.

So lets get on to T? and promotion agencies to see if this can be arranged?

:D

That would be a sweet combination indeed…

Shame about it being in the point - could hardly imagine watching either band without a beer in my hand :(

Yeah i know and the point isn’t known to have the best acoustics in the world.
Mind you Motorhead will blow the place up with their show.

We don’t have a perfect venue in Dublin.
I was in Vicar St on Sunday to see “The Presidents of United States of America” and the sound quality was pathetic.

Great live (fun) band, ya have to laugh at them.

I always liked Vicar st as a venue but last sunday was a disgrace.

The ambassador i suppose would be next on the list.
But i’m barred after a bust up with security.

Doesn’t surprise me one bit , mothertrucker. My fists get very itchy when being pushed around by frustrated security guys every time a gig in The Ambassador ends.

You been in the Sugar Club venue yet ?

The Ambassador is my favourite, but usually steer clear of the security to be honest.

I just like the fact that you can see perfectly no matter where you stand and have easy access to pints without having to leave the show.

Vicar Street would be second. Not too much after that though…

Now,

That would be indeed something to pray for. Slane, by tradition is a rock festival and I want it to stay that way.

We have all seen what happens when you try to put a rap act as the headliner - Karma has a funny way of working things out…

AC/DC with Therapy? as support would be a sweet day out.

Why do Therapy “fans” only think T? are good enough as supporting acts.

I said “HEADLINE”. maybe AC/DC can lace T?’s boots before they go on stage.

Yes! i am but seeing as Therapy haven’t organised their own headlining gigs in Dublin, i just made the suggestion.
Come on, give me a break!

On another note i’ve just heard that Shane Ward has sold out the point depot 4 nights in a row.
Motorhead tickets have been on sale nearly 4 weeks now and still haven’t sold out the one gig. Even with Therapy on board.
Scary the way the music industry’s fucked.

Ah, it will fill up.

Rock fans are just a bit lazier when it comes to buying tickets.

Haven’t even bought mine yet. Still hope they play a real gig in Dublin as well this year though.
