Motörhead “Kiss of death”

#

Started by kossu (Petri Koskiniemi)

Out on August 29th. Just heard the song “Sucker” and it´s bloody good!
Who has made Lemmy, Phil and Mickey this angry that they´ve made this kinda (lyrics; Lem does always the lyrics) song?
It´s a fast one with quit:)angry lyrics..
Just can´t wait for the whole album!

I will wait…hearing it would be cool but i can’t be bothered finding it… i trust them, so it will be a good album. Is that R.A.M.O.N.E.S track a live one or have they just re-recorded it?

wonder why they are bothering.. it’s a bit pointless as the other version is great…and i doubt one less song would have made a difference. But i guess they have their reasons.

just means another of their albums to buy..i only have two more to finish my collection… rock N roll and Iron Fist.

Rock N Roll is bloody excellent and Fist has got it´s moments like “America” and “Don´t need religion”. Go and get the expanded versions cause there´s interesting bonus stuff on them.

yeah i heard that iron fist isn’t the best album..fast eddie was more interested in badly producing it then playing guitar or something:) I will get them at one point.. it’s annoying with the expanded editions as i don’t want to buy the albums again just to get the extra stuff.

Inferno is a great album but at this moment these tracks are stronger! Anyway, new tracks are similar to Inferno stuff which is a nice thing.

Cheers for the sneak preview of the new tracks, Kossu!

I agree, they sound stronger than Inferno.

Having said that, I hope there is something on there that compares with In The Black, cos I LOVED that track!

“In the black” from Inferno is one of my favs too!
These three new tracks promises a lot of the forthcoming new one! But Lemmy has never let me/us down, “Hammered” I didn´t like that much but that one has got it´s “good moments” too:)

Hammered was a disappointment for me too (in fact a lot of MH fans agree) but I absolutely LOVE Brave New World (great lyrics in particular) and there’s a couple of other good tracks,so it is still worth having.

The whole album already leaked to the net like it happened to OCFA and it´s over a month to the release date…
Recordcompanies shouldn´t send any promos these days if they want to protect the releases from netpiracy:) but anyway every TRUE Motörhead fan buys the official release on the actual day (and all formats: cd, vinyl & tape) like every TRUE T? fan does:)

I agree that in this day and age the record companies need to take a good, fresh look at promo activities and start again from scratch with strategies instead of trying to fit their current thinking around new technology and finding a square peg in a round hole.

Real fans WILL buy the album but I also think that far from killing music (as the old warnings used to say) piracy does encourage genuine fans to check out new bands that they WILL go on to buy

While waiting for the actual release date, go and get the Head Cat dvd (Rocking at the cat club) and the re-release of the year 2000 Rock/Billy album, now named “Fools Paradise”.
Nice Rock/Billy stuff with Slim Jim on drums, Danny B on bass and Lemmy on guitar and singing.
