Don’t know about that but it appears that the Nudey-Firemen calendar will meet some stiff competition (no pun intended) this Chrimbo.

in my opinion: oasis is such a incredible stupid shite band… their music is so slow and boring, they have thousands of songs and they all sound the same… and they don’t have better things to do than telling bad thing about other bands, they really should try to make a song different and not always recording the same song over and over again…

as well pete doherty, this guy is always in the news because he doesnt hanve anything to do but taking drugs and drinking alcohol.. and NOT because of his so-called music..

anyway i dont care… but dont take this the wrong way: if someone decides to listen to oasis or sth. i dont have anything against it, its just what i do thing about them…
but i remeber one of oasis later single from the new album wasnt that bad at all… its a black and white video and one man is always dancing in a suite, mostly he’s running around with a few people who are holding a coffin…

I would agree up to a point but the last Oasis lp was actually quite varied in styles…

Well, there are some bands that you just don’t like on principle, you don’t like the people or the image or whatever, and whoever says it is “all just about the music maaaaaan” is fulla shit

I think Liam is the sole reason oasis are maligned.

His live voice is poor and he is too arrogant and lippy.

Noel, however is one of the funniest people ive ever heard, and he can always sing live.

i actually meant this one song, not the whole album… otherwise it would be a contradiction!

as a so-called “non-oasis fan” i would never never listen to the whole album

Stone Roses? Oh yes yes yes yes!

Charlatand..? Not for me personally, but they have been more consistent than Oasis, deffo.

There came a 30 mins set from the last year´s Hurricane festival from Finnish tv last night. I didn´t watch it cause I had to get a rid of my terrible hangover:(.
It´s aired again next Fri night and I´ll get it recorded then as we are then in Germany at the Battle Of Metal festival so I got watch it then when we´re back here in Finland, but anyway, Oasis was really good at their heydays back in the mid 90`s. No shame to admit, that I like those first two albums now days like I liked them then. “Whatever” and “Dont look back in anger” are anthems of the 90`s for sure.

Noel is great. :)

I’d say the biggest moron in that film is Damon Albarn.

Everyone is giving amusing anecdotes and he’s just whinging and sulking the whole time, trying to be serious, but looking like a humourless wanker.

i guess you like both bands then…

doesnt this board excist, so everyone can say his OWN MIND?
…and who cares what i say?

sorry, but this is just what i think!
if you say this is the most important band in your life, then i dont have a problem with it… both bands have a hughe fanbase, so theres got to be something that people like about their music!

but actually i cant really understand that there are therapy? fans who are listening to lalala songs à la oasis! with lalala songs i mean that i think that theres almost no power in their songs, no vibe… but anyway, do whatever you like to do, i wont change your mind, even if i would have the possibility to change it

:) I don´t find it “strange” to listen to “la la” songs as a T? fan:) I listen to all kinda music; metal, hardcore punk, rock etc. whaterver that gets me into good vibe and makes me feel good. I don´t really find that strange…Listening to hard stuff like Discharge suits some day and listening to “la la” suits the other day. This is a free world (or it should be:)and thank god everybody can like whatever they want!
But T? is defitenitly better than Oasis ever was and is ever going to be, that´s for sure:D but I still like Oasis!
