What makes band’s suck so much more than others is a) they’re taking the main ideas from the bands they dig b) the singer’s voice makes you think of how to get rid of the singer and pretty fast c) the whole bands sound is so shitty you could occupate all the world’s toilets with that.
And what are these bands? They play gothic “metal” which makes little girls crying. They play new-wave indie and they’re not going to sell their souls for the music business and year/years later they are clinched to a big record co.
But one band came to my mind which sucks very badly. Daniel Lioneye And The Rollers. Ever heard of HIM? Ever heard of their guitarist Daniel Lioneye? Ever heard a shittiest version of “Knocking On Heaven’s Door”?

joking aside I would say the smaller audience for Therapy? is very little to do with music and everything to do with marketing budgets and promotion..
