I want to know how they’re doing on the search for a drummer?
Or maybe they will use a guest drummer(s) if they can’t find a permanent replacement.

Title: New album…

I have it on good authority that right now the band are recording demos, so it will probably be a while yet before we hear any new music!

Yeah, a Troublegum-meets-Suicide-Pact-mixture sounds okay to me.
Rough but great hooklines.
Hopefully they don“t get balladesque ;-)

Title: Worst Case Scenario

Most probably T? will sound too 70’s in the next album. Kinda like Alrite, Wicked Man or the Gimme covers. Disgusting. When i heard SMFTTYP i thought they ‘d go on to record songs like Fat Camp. Dark, unique, experimental and above all inspired. Why did they choose to copy the trash rock sound is beyond me. In a few years they will become like The New York Dolls, only without the make up.

Its hard to say where they’ll go from the straight on Rock n’ Roll that is Shameless, god bless it.
I’d like to hear a collection of Acoustic versions of Therapy? songs, although i think they shouldn’t do that just yet.

Suicide Pact is my favourite album, but i doubt they’ll do that again.
I think its likely that they’ll do a kind of more rock n’ roll Infernal Love, which would be great.

I wouldn’t tell them what to do though, they’ve never let me down and they know what they are doing better than me, you, or anyone else.

Yeah i know what you mean Damaged Therapy? haven’t let me down yet, they are one of the most consistent bands around. They have changed their sound almost with every album and they are great live.So why are they ignored by the media??I haven’t been disapointed yet with any of their albums.Unlike the Manic street preachers i love the Holy bible album but their last two albums This is my truth tell me yours and Know your enemy were very disapointing.I know it will be a while before there is a new Therapy? album,i can’t wait hear what they come up with.Plus they have to get a new drummer.

In a reply from churchofnoise, Andy said they hoped to record the next studio album in September. So I guess it will be the end of the year before we hear another album.

I think all the albums are brilliant and unique in their own way. There are some good tracks on Shameless (Stalk and Slash, Joey) and some crap on there as well, but even Troublegum has bad tracks (What was Femtex all about??)

The music still sounds fresh and I think a new drummer similar to what Graham was all about will do good things for them. There is plenty of life in the old dog yet !!!!

I like Femtex. Especially the opening line. Has anyone made T-shirts with that slogan? :)

Anyway, I’d like to do some what if -speculation. What if Therapy?’s new drummer is completely different from Graham Hopkins and/or Fyfe Ewing? What if they decide to take their next influences from the Latin America? What if T? goes reggae? They haven’t ahd any soul/r’n’b/hip hop/jazz -influences that much, do they? What if now is the time?

(I just got back from a two week holiday, so my mind’s a bit off)
