Ok, I need a job…

So, does anyone that lives in Belfast, or close to Belfast, eg. Bangor, Lisburn, Carrick want to hire me. I don’t have my National Insurance number… yet, but I need a job :D

Good luck then. You might be able to get a cash in hand job but nothing else, plus you’re under 16 which severely limits your options.

i’d say it’ll be hard to find something…maybe your friend’s dad might be able to sort you out…good luck colly wolly…and if you don’t find anything practice playing bass/drums (i think in another thread you wanted to do that)…if you don’t own either then learn french or something and you’ll be really good when you go back to school in sept!

And as for the french, I’m doing it for GCSE. As for the music, I have a guitar, no bass or drums though. :(

I thought in another thread you said something about playing bass? Anyway, get yourself some drumsticks, you can at least practise your rhythm that way, even if it is only one step up from airdrumming. ;)

Yeah, I might buy some stix tomorrow. My mum will think I’m strange, because I’ll be bashing the air with sticks..

Why not go around bars / clubs asking if they need a glass collector? That was the first job I ever had when I was 15. It was shite like, but ya gots ta start somewhere!

Or why not go for some gender equality and ask family (or friends of family) for babysitting opportunities? Mightn’t be the most manly but I’ve always thought it’d be a sweet job. Hell, I’d happily do it now! :D

Baked goods (cookies, cakes etc.) - Many families are too busy to bake their own cookies and cakes these days. However, having fresh-baked goods around the house is nice. Also, a family might need a home-baked cake for a school bake sale or a party. You could provide baked goods for special occasions like these or sell baked goods at local craft or farmers’ markets. Check local health laws as you are starting this sort of activity. “

:D wow !a thread about Jobs and AndysGibsonSG hasn’t piped up to inform colin? and grant how great he is because he has a job and they don’t.

He’s probably waiting until they are absolutely desperate for jobs and super - depressed first.

He can appear even more of a cunt that way.

If you have a problem with AndysGibsonSG, that’s fine. But we don’t need/ want to hear about it here, as I thought I had already made clear.

If you have a problem with that, email me.

No, you made a comment about Squall in one of the threads about him being jobless. He didn’t appreciate it, nor did I.

Quite simply, it’s not nice to take the piss because someone is jobless. Squall is looking for a job, I know he is because I am very good mates with him and he tells me how various job interviews go.

Both of you are acting very childish, please act your age and not your shoe size.
We’re all friends on the WoM.. make peace, both of you. :)
