The first thing the PR guy did was to tell the tabloid. The next day we arrived at the gig in Munich, slightly hungover, and in the Munich equivalent of The Sun, because we were a popular band in Germany at that time, had put a cover on the newspaper with a picture of us and a huge glass of lager. The head line was “Irish band drinks 116 litres of beer.”
i didn’t know that story, it’s funny… 116 litres of beer…
but i can beat that :D i’ll prove it if someone justs pays the bill… :D
