Ncaa 2007

#

Started by ninjated (Liam)

my roommate was playing the game in his room the other day when i heard “nowhere” playing.
i thought i’d finally turned him into a therapy? fan but it turns out the song is in the new ncaa game.
strange eh, t? get a tune put in a major video game and they use a song from over ten years ago!

Nowhere is an absolutely awesome song but does anyone else think this is REALLY odd? I dunno how it’d fit the theme, its not a new song (you’d have thought EA would be after new stuff), its just, weird!!

Neds atomic dustbin is a more odd choice, Madden is the big football franchise, ncaa is just the summer filler from what i gathered so maybe ea use it to experiment new ideas ie having an early ’90s british soundtrack

NCAA and Madden go hand in hand. You can actually export your graduating class in NCAA, and then import it for your yearly draft in Madden.

The college game is also very different than the NFL game, so NCAA has all of the trick plays etc that don’t go in the pros.

Personally I like NCAA better than Madden. More variety to it, plus no John Madden. They’ve used the exact same commentary lines for the past 4 games.

o.k. yeah i should have made it clearer in the original post…
ncaa is a college football (american college football that is).
for those of you unfamiliar with the game it is actually more popular than the nfl over here. there are allot more options and depth to the gameplay, plus theres also 138 teams or something.
i was just really surprised to hear the mighty therapy? playing in the background.
usally when i mention the band over here no-one has a clue of who they are so i thought it was a odd choice of band to put on one of the most popular selling sport games.
but hey i cant complain… i’ve been here over 5 years now and become accustomed to the sports. at least i can hear my favorite band while playing a game thats still somewhat new to me.
try getting therapy? on fifa on winning eleven… not gonna happen!
