Holidays from Hell

#

Started by hoochalobster (Sarah) Super Moderator

So I’m treking off to the arse end of nowhere tomorrow, filled with the usual sense of dread and impending doom. Does anyone want to share their holiday disasters and cheer me up? I’d like to come back and say “at least it wasn’t as bad as that”.

Cheers, Hooch XXX

Title: France

Wemt to France last year for a week. On the 2nd day I fell asleep on the beach, and woke up seriously fucking red. Next day, my face wouldn’t move as the skin was rock hard, a yellow liquid pus was also seeping through the skin on my face (which everyone could see). I had to stay indoors and drink loads of water, meaning I couldn’t drink beer for fear of dehydration. 2 days from the end, I finally went outside to a zoo and the skin on my face cracked right down the middle - I looked like a fuckin snake or something, everyone was staring at me. To top it off, the people I was with were arguing the whole time, and I was expected to take sides.

Sunstroke - not very nice!! I’d rather break my arm/leg, cos it’s seriously not as bad. The muscles under the skin actually were cooked to a certain degree - what a nightmare.

Sarah - if your holiday is worse than that, you deserve a big motherfuckin hug!

Yikes, that was BAD. Especially the no drinking beer part ;) Poor you. I’m generally phobic about direct sunlight so the chances of me getting burned are slim but can I have a hug anyway? :D

Went to Hungary on the bike once and it broke down in Austria. Got it fixed 2 days later cos it was a weekend. Got to Hungary and the petrol tank sprung a leak. Had to drain the fuel out and get it soldered. Not as dangerous as it sounds. Great holiday apart from those 2 incidents.

The problem is: Money!
I usually spend a huge amount in alcohol during my holidays, so I can´t travel, as there is no money left, then.
;-)
Because of this I also can´t remember my latest holidays, but I think they were quite funny (there always some photos which have documentated the “alcohol-holidays”…)
