Has anyone actually thought about how different Stories sounds without Martin?

On the DVD it sounds a lot different than what it did on the most recent Paradiso gig.
Now it sounds like a much more serious song, without the cello it seems a bit more sombre.
I’m not saying this is a bad thing… anyone else got thoughts on it?

There’s only 2 things I really hated with the cello and that was Isolation and Diane (though I don’t like the guitarversion of Diane anymore either :o)

I Stories better without the cello too, sounds a bit more serious and moody.
