My days of collecting are probably numbered, since what I still need will probably cost me far too much money than I could justify spending. The demo tapes, fan club tape, Bad Mother etc. My mortgage alone is costing me over 800 euros a month - not nice :(
The Auto Surgery vinyl is pretty nifty though! ;)

Mortgages are a CUNT…!!!!
Paying almost an even grand myself.
And the rates have gone by almost 1% in the last 6 months alone. Fucking European Central Bank.
AAHHHHhhhh!!!! I have to stop going on about it. All this grown up shit just pisses me off too much.

What does a tape of the Best of Queen turn into? Or can we assume that that is a tape’s natural form in the wild?

Yes, I played it, and it still sounds like a usual cassettetape. I play all my (important) tapes about once a year to keep them intact, but I keep my fingers very close to the stop button in case strange sounds come out… :)

I’ve got some cassettes somewhere of therapy? stuff that i need to transfer at one point. Like them at donnigton 95, and an interview with andy which is really funny on the Chris evens Radio show. I also have some vhs’s with live footage..i’m just scared to play them as they are so old.

That’s why I transferred all my VHS to DVD, but I also don’t trust homemade dvd’s, they start failing after a while, so I always keep a copy of the VHS as well (same counts for cassettetapes).
What’s that interview about? I don’t think I’ve got that one.

It’s a bit of a strange one… they chat about whats going on with therapy? and andy makes up a lot of shit which is funny and has loads of sound effects going on to make it sound like he is in a dungeon …talks about air guitars for a bit and says his favourite is a boston thunderbender.. then introduced Churchill his cocky rock band and does a version of “roll out the barrel”:D I will try and find it and do a copy friday for you if i can:)

Oh, that would be nice, sounds fun indeed.
The only “not very serious” interview I have is from a french radio station, where andy is pretty drunk (or has any other poison in his body) talks crap and plays some acoustic tunes, which is pretty hilarious :p

I´m in the beginning of that transfering from VHS to DVD:)It´s a damn job to do!
Did you transfer your VHS stuff to doublelayer DVD:s or normal ones?

I use normal DVD’s they’re big enough, and my burner can’t handle dual layer dvd’s. If you use a computer, I hope it’s faster than mine… it takes 4-6 hours to write a DVD on my computer, and I burn on lowest speed (for more durable results)

Is the Donington stuff from Headbangers Ball? I’ve a really shit version of the ‘94 piece, and the ‘95 piece has the interview cut out. I’d love to get a copy on dvd/vhs, if you could? Found any more old pieces?
You would be rewarded handsomely! :)

The Donnigton stuff are both from the “Noisy mothers” and “Raw Power” TV shows. I think there are two songs from each plus interview stuff. I will need to find a way to transfer them and when i do i shall let you know:)
If you want a CD of the interview then email me your address:)
