I’m SO glad ‘Gimme Back My Brain’ was included in the shortlist - I was sure it wouldn’t be in the list as I don’t think the band have played it live since the tour for ‘Shameless’. I very much doubt it will get enough vote to make the final setlist though…

Good call. Any Myspaz people might like to point that out on T?’s page… I know the WoMbles will be more interested in the rare stuff but I think a lot of ‘friends’ over there will only have heard of Troublegum…

Hope those “not so known” songs will find their way to the final. Suing God seems to have a chance, nice!
Would be nice to be at the gig where it ever now will be, but my/our money goes to Dublin and the Point gig. Only way to get money for another trip outboards this fall, would be to rob a bank:)but I guess it´s better to leave that plan;)

Easy choice!!!

No more Troublegum thank you, we can go see them at any regular gig! Having said that, of the regular gig tracks I would miss Teethgrinder if that wasn’t played. Still one of my favourites.

Also, I’m not very good with technical stuff, but if I download this gig and burn it on a DVD, what sort of sound am I gonna get? I imagine it won’t be 5.1 or even surround, am i right?

It will just be stereo:)

The audio has to be encoded as a seperate track for it to be 5.1

They should make up artwork for the CD and DVD labels also.
Either to send with the cover or to download with the tracks.

With the downloaded artwork and just a CD-R in the case, the other download singles just don’t seem complete.

Thats what I thought, but then I know people who download films from the internet and get 5.1. It’s not such a problem I guess, but when I play Scopophobia on my home cinema on 5.1 DTS it blows me away (and the neighbours come to that!)

Divers (Simon) wrote:

Yeah but something like films they would be ripped straight from the DVD so the encoding would be there but for something like this it would make the file sizes way too big… but they may prove me wrong, its just 5.1 mixes aren’t cheap.

Pleased to see you lot are digging the web gig idea.

Even more pleased about Suing God being popular, as it’s on the list because I suggested it - T? didn’t include it. *takes a bow* ;-)

Colin, I was joking. I actually voted for Suing God (duh), Dancin’ With Manson and Little Tongues First.

SUING GOD is one of T?’s best tracks. I couldn’t believe they chose it as a b-side when I first heard it.

Nice one! “Teethgrinder” :D

regarding the usual/unusual tracks… i think that the sales are gonna be the same despite the track list…

i dont think that people that only know troublegum may base their opinion to buy the record on the tracks…

if they decide to buy the album its maybe because they would like to hear something new for them, instead (live versions) of the songs that they already knew.

Anyway, i’ll buy the whole thing, whatever tracks are on it :D

saludos amigos
