London Astoria in fear of being shut down

It seems that there are plans to make the astoria in london into shops… its right in the centre of london and is one of the better venues around, it has a long and great history and would be a shame if we lost it. There seems to be an online petition if you get time please add your name cheers

Well they do, this happened a few years ago and it worked then… there is the same chance it could work again.

Mean Fiddler got bought out last year by some company probably looking to make a quick return on its investment. If the Asroria doesn’t make enough money, the owners will sell for the best price they can get and invest elsewhere.

It would be a shame to see it go, but nostallgia alone won’t keep it open :(
