“automatic” has to be my favourite. closely followed by “freefall”. and i have a thing for “reborn”. i do think the album gets a bit whiny when it gets to “chemical” and “voices”.

well I can’t understand a word he says on most of the songs!! :p

Other than that though I have no complaints, and there are a few great solos on the album. They seemed to have dropped the glam rock thing now

most of the bands were really bad. apparently greg from the dawn parade was there but i didn’t really notice him. someone who looked a bit like hitler did a shit hot version of she is suffering. and there was also a very pretty young man who was wearing the same “all rock n roll is homosexual” t shirt as me. i felt like a fool, he was much younger and prettier than me :D

really? are they playing the gigs left on the tour? i was meant to see them this saturday. oh well as long as mba are there i’ll be satisfied. i didn’t really care for the dawn parade myself but it’s a shame to hear they’ve split.

this is purely for 30 seconds benefit as my real review proper is going to be put onto the r*e*p*e*a*t* site shortly (hopefully). but, yes, they certainly did rock. again i managed to get a setlist. did i mention that before? probably.

the white noise inc
drowning by numbers
freefall
MBA
burn and fade (a new new song nonetheless)
emotional junkmail
talk hard
chemical
dot dot dot

no “automatic” though. no “human punk” either. but still a top gig. right, i’m off now to go and fall into a coma and die. dammit. :o

Ahh, thanks! I spent pretty much half of last Sunday with him in Bury. Apparently, the new MBA album (which is almost certain to happen) might be called ‘Machine’. Sounds good…

Was that your OCFA review on R*E*P*E*A*T? That was also very good.

I don’t think I got it :(
No worries! It was a well written piece. Kind of summed up what I thought about the album too.

Gimmie: they’re on hiatus, for a little while. They will almost definately be getting back together though, just as soon as Open Mouth is finished (Seymour’s new project).

Also… Open Mouth is playing in Cambridge on 2nd October. I’m *so* there. The demo Seymour sent me is very, very good. I’ll say hi if I see you.
