Hi!

I just split up with my idiot of a boyfriend, I’ve just got the password changed to his email adress wich is the one I’m using at the moment. He put me through drugs problems, violence, sleeping around behind my back (quite a few times)with some really tacky girls, and finally kicking me out of my own house this has been happening for the last two years. I’m only 20 my name is Emily, my Dad died when I was younger and Rob was the man in my life that I looked up to.
I now feel awful and hate him for doing what he did. His name is Rob Markwell, he lives in Leamington Spa (England) and if any of you happen to meet him, please do let him know what an idiot he is. Better yet, if anyone wants to give him a call, his number is *********** [phone number removed on Emily’s request]

Girls stay away from this man!!

I’ve just split up with my husband, so i kinda know what you’re going through. It sounds like you’re better off without him though - hope life gets better for ya.

Title: Trudy!

I think you should call yourself trudy, and talk about waxing, shopping, sex and willies, vibrators, how crap men are.You also have to decide whether you want to be a group leader type girl, or a counsellor type, a bitchy type, the girl who always has fun and sleeps around, or the virginal one.
Definately, I think you should go for it!
I can’t believe it, just heard he was with someone else last night aswell.

add some men to the list of assholes, but I think this is probably not the best place for it.
But I totally agree to the thesis of 90% of all men being assholes/pigs. And about becoming lesbian: believe me, even if you try it very hard, it just doesn’t work!!!!

Now you make me confused, if I have myself transformed then 90% of the men are shite, and even if Itry to be a lesbian I would be dissapointed…I guess I just stay male so I can piss any where I like at festivals, fart when I want to, drink too much beer and burp when I want!

so many things have gone wrong. your family is reduced once more. to three people. all women. of different generation. the mother, the grandmother and… you, the daughter. you wonder how it could’ve happened. you feel, deep inside, something’s missing; you never had the male counterpart by your side when you were growing up. well, you’ve had it, but not for long. or perhaps it isn’t that important. what matters now is just you and your family, the only thing you’re left with, the only ones who’ve always really loved you even when you were too dull to understand that. it’s only been twenty-one years, and it’d be easy to say you’re fed up with everything. still, you keep fighting for something more. you try to be humble. find happiness in simple things. have great fun without gettin wasted.

superficial guys who only know how to mess up their lives. some others are just too scared…

good luck to you, emily.
that which doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, or something like that (they say)
anyway, you’ve joined the big family and now it’s up to us to keep your mind busy and at peace!
thus i’d better stop being so depressive!

And i prefered Ghostbusters to Transformers.

Wow Kyra, I liked that message. Thank you!
Now I’ve got a really bad admission to make, I didn’t know this was a message board for fans of Therapy, I don’t know how I didn’t know that but then I actually read it today, instead of wanting to tell everyone everything. I don’t know who they are. What kind of music do they do and would I know them? please don’t be mad with me I’m willing to learn :)

Cool!! That still leaves 10% good guys… of course, it will be a bit less since there are probably some gay dudes in there…

This calls for an immediate study! We need to find out the percentage of men who really are pigs and how does it reflect to the percentage of men being gay. The results must be interesting. Not surprising, I’d say, but interesting.

Of course this has all been off-T?opic until now but you don’t see me care. Anyway, welcome, Emily, anything you need to find out about Therapy? is right here. Start with this site and the sound clips and check the links for more. I’m off for the weekend. Peace.

you see, there’s a song called DIANE. er, don’t listen to that now. please don’t. leave it behind. trust me.

and, if you do…know that it’s a cover version. it wasn’t written by therapy?. we don’t want you to think they’re pigs!
maybe they are, maybe not. perhaps they’re gay, perhaps they’re women. lesbian, even. you can never tell… you never get to know people too well to say…

the transformers! oh, they were cool, they’ve always made me laugh…

I guess you don’t have any male friends then?
I can safely say I’m not an asshole. :D

Oh, and I avoid all those american “hip” women sit com/drama’s, who moan about all their private stuff.

right. Few things to be cleared up here. Most of my friends are males,m I love them to bits, but they treat women like shit, thats not my problem they’re my friends. I have nothing against men, in general I prefer them to women as they don’t bitch or backstab and they will always be there if you need them. My problem is the attitude they have to women when they want to get into their pants or are going out with them, or even married. You men seem to have so much respect for your friends, but none for your girlfriends. You do realise girlfriends aren’t aliens don’t you???

Second thing yes I do like Bridget Jones (which is British btw), yes I do watch sex in the city. I like to stay in with a bottle of wine and I like to paint my nails. So? does that mean I cannot make my own opinions based on my own life experiences? I watched Spiderman but I don’t expect him to come and rescue me when I’m in trouble so why do you think I’m that impressionable as to take opinions from characters in films. Silly Silly boy.

OOOhhh and my friend Justin said he loves Therapy and next week he’s going to play me the album and explain more about the music to me as my computer is far too slow to download Wav’s until I get a new one!!!

Bridget Jones’ Diary is my favourite film and I watch Sex and the City. They are crap, I accept their crapness fully. But they’re crap in the same way that chocolate and drugs and drink and too much partying and too little sleep are crap. They kill you, but you love them anyway. And they never say men are pigs. So there. I don’t care whether men actually are pigs, or whether women are, or whether they both are. But I’m damn well gonna defend the culture of modern women.

I’m not having this!

You make it sound like women never do anything bad! Fair enough, I can get with all that “girlie” stuff, and we all know your farts smell like roses and you shit talc etc.. but to state that just about all men are bastards? Eh?! I lived with a girl for 3 years, and I thought we were pretty much water tight, but she left me for somebody she met on the internet without so much as an explanation ( and with a shit load of debt which wasn’t mine ). I could say from my own experience that it’s easy to be dismissive after somebody does you wrong, fair enough this guys has betrayed you big time, but look on the bright side..he’s gone! Don’t look at it as though it’s the end, if he’s that much of a bastard you’ve got a new begining!

Hell, we all make mistakes, but not all of us have the same attitude towards women y’know! Next time they’re misbehaving, give ‘em all a lovely slap and tell ‘em to get it sorted!

Really vile blokes do always seem to have a girl (or more with them), but then, all the worst women seem to get the blokes chasing after them when they should perhaps be left well alone. Anyone else think they’re attracted to the people that are worst for them?

Emily, you should get your mate to play you Troublegum very loud. Then go and do some of the things you used to like doing before you met your boyfriend and remind yourself of how cool you are without him.

BTW I watch Sex and the City and am a bloke. Never realyl saw the point of Bridget Jones though.
