i recently watched a video tape of a Farin Urlaub (of Die Ärzte, big german band) gig and he had “nowhere” in the set. would be interesting to know if other ‘famous’ bands have also done therapy? covers, does anyone know?

It was Potato Junkie, but he only did it once as his sister complained about it, saying that it was defamatory.

I do think that Sum 41 have done the intro of Nowhere to start their one tune (but can’t remember where but I have seen it/heard it for sure) as well as NOFX same intro same song …

Really?!? Where can I get this? Do you have it? Die Ärzte is my second favourite band (T? is first of course) and the stuff Farin does Solo sounds pretty much like them. I relly like zhe idea. Farin Urlaub is known to advertise bands he likes…

Mambo Kurt? Really? Now that sounds interesting. Is it on CD somewhere? Do you happen to know?

It’s on his album ‘The Return Of Alleinunterhalter’, alongside such nice tracks as Creep, Come As You Are or Paradise City.
I also highly recommend the ‘Ich bin kein Amerikaner’ ep by Angelika Express featuring mambo Kurt on the outstanding track ‘Der Alleinunterhalter’ (got nuthin’ to do with T?, I just wanted to mention it :) )

Confess who’s heard this one.
