Hey guys !
Just back from my holidays ( Sweden will never be the same again ) and already noticed the gig is switched to the Olympia. Happy enough with that as I’m not a big fan of the Point and Olympia is easy to get to.
I smell a Wombles meet and greet beforehand in the Foggy Dew Pub , just around the corner from the Olympia.
Also , the venue for the afterparty is a give-away now *grins secretly* :D

So where will it be…?
The Foggy Dew also? (not from dublin. don’t have a clue)
Or Bruxelles maybe?

Any chance of bringing some Koskenkorva over , kossu ? I miss the stuff and the toasting to the great President that got the Russians out ;)
Forgot to mention this earlier; check out the back cover of “Bomber” LP, Lemmy has got a bottle of Koskenkorva there in the picture. Those photos were taken here in Finland at Punkalaidun “Punkarock festival” midsummer 1979. Motörhead ended up in jail for some days after having too much “fun” at the festival…Too much Koskenkorva:)
You can read the full story in Lemmy´s biography “White line fever”.
Do you still want me to bring some Koskenkorva?

We don’t have a 5th amendment here.
So where is it? You can email me if you prefer. ;)

The Olympia should be a good venue for it.
And it’s easier to get to than the Point.
…and the sound is WAY BETTER in the olympia!

Dublin has gone METAL CRAZY for the first 2 weeks of November… Wish they’d throw Cork a bone. Let us have a decent gig like on of these down here.
Halloween ; MOTORHEAD / THERAPY?
Nov. 02 ; VADER / ILLDESPOSED
Nov. 04 ; EXODUS
Nov. 05 ; SLAYER / LAMB OF GOD / IN FLAMES / CHILDREN OF BODOM
Nov. 13 ; OPETH(again) / PARADISE LOST

Hey Cuchulain,
Finally got to that Spar in Blanch (tis a keeper!) and got my tickets also - was kind of worried whether there would be any left after the venue switch.
Am much happier with it being at the Olympia - can bring your beer in and the sound is better.
The Point would have been Painful

Two of my football buddies also got tickets over the weekend and are looking forward to it big time.
One of them is a bit of a lapsed fan , used to be mates with Andy back in the good old mad Dublin days and even attended his marriage.
Gonna be some ‘session’ going on that night , I think :D

That’s a funny movie. I really enjoyed Steve Buschimi(spelling) in it. And Adam Sandler before he became America’s favourite comedy golden boy.

Exactly, have you not HEARD the chants at Motorhead gigs?! I mean, crowds do tend to tell the truth - I was at a gig by another band years ago sponsored by Radio One and Gary Davies was greeted with the song “Gary is a wanker”, which is so true you will probably find it on Wikipedia..

Could suggest Casa Cuchulain for pre gig gargles but it’s a bit out of the area , so best place imo would be the Foggy Dew Pub just around the corner from the Olympia ( 2 mins walk )
As it is a bit of a rock pub I do however expect it to be jammy full with Motorhead fans and the likes.
Any suggestions welcome though.
