I cannot believe that ‘Skyward’ hasn’t got more votes. Therapy?’s coolest song ever! Only ever saw them play it live twice, in the S.F.X. in 1992 and in Limerick in 1999. I just hope that whatever oldies do end up on the list they play them properly and do them justice. I love Therapy? but one of my greatest nightmares was the Sunstroke festival in Dalymount Park, Dublin, 1994. The band were at the height of their Troblegum period and in hindsight they were starting to lose the run of themselves a bit. During the gig they did something that for me was absolutely unforgiving, they played a medley of Meat Abstract, Neck Freak and Teethgrinder. It was just about the uncoolest thing I ever heard. I know it was a festival and they had time constraints but that was no excuse. Those songs were better than any of the Troblegum stuff by a mile in my view and still are to this day. Sorry, I’ve been waiting years to get that off my chest, phew, what a relief.

Is it the same samples as on the live version of Innocent X on the Opal Mantra single?
No just the ones that were on the album.. the phone and the heavy breathing. The “you want danger , i’ll show you want danger is baby” wasn’t used when they played live this time.
And I’m down with Skyward getting more votes… i would love to hear that live again:)

Was listening to Infernal Love in the car today, for the first time in ages. I was reminded just what an epic work of music it truly is. Looking back on the list of songs, it’s a shame Epilepsy, Bad Mother and Me Vs You aren’t on there. Truly powerful songs, full of creative, erm… juices. I wonder why they were overlooked. (apart from the obvious Bad Mother/cello link)

You´re right! It´s a GREAT album! Been also listening IL a lot last during days. Jude the obscene would have got my vote, just love that song!

kozzu, have you heard the early version of Jude The Obscene (called ‘this isn’t where it’s at’) from the Catweazel demo? I actually prefer it to the version on IL. Especially, the part where Andy sings “and then I open my eyes” is excellent.

Great to see Suing God on there. Kinda gutted Heaven’s Gate didn’t make the list.:( I think they should have WOMbles in studio to create that “hardcore fan” atmosphere. Me vs. You should have been there too. If Diane makes it, it’ll be played Husker Du-style in Martin’s absence, I’m guessing…
