How did “Femtex” not make it into the list?

And why could we only for “sister” from SPYF?

Fans thought Robby was going to sing it. :D

No, all credit to him for doing it. I know the lyrics very well but I bet I just would have made a fool out of myself on that stage.

And me.

Maybe the guys are treating the results like market research? We may see more of some of the also-rans in future gigs. *fingers crossed*

Given that Mikehell always talks about food i his diary entries, I don’t think it should come as a surprise that he and the rest of the band eat, from time to time.

But look on the brightside - because this gig will be recorded, all you screamager-haters will be able to fast forward through it, rather than muttering ‘this is shit, why don’t they play something deeply unpopular?’, which is, I’m sure, what you must surely do when you actually turn up to see them play live & they dare play… a hit!

Me, whilst there’s a few songhs that didn’t make it that I’d have liked to have heard, I’m going to listen to the whole thing, start to finish.

Loud! :p

I think it’s just a simple case of some secret expecting wish that the top12 would be (almost) exactly like their favorite envisionment thereof. Oh see, I would love it if half of this list got replaced by some other favorites of mine, and my initial reaction to the turn up was, ‘Uhh.. what? The troublegum standards and teethgrinder. They play that all the time.’ And I admit that I still have a slight fear that a lot of people just mistook this poll as a ‘What are your favorite 3 T? songs?’ poll, rather than an exclusive chance to get what you’ve never heard before.

But.. look what ‘we’ did get! If Therapy? played a gig nowadays and they’d play A Moment of Clarity, Lonely Cryin’ Only or Dancing with Manson people there would go batshit, in the most positive interpertation of the term. But Evil Elvis and Suing God? Whoaw. Count your blessings people, for I know I am thankful of everyone casting a vote on Suing God. Thanks. :)

MIKEHELL himself said he has been looking at our opinions on this webgig. I’m sure he knows that the longtime fans want to hear rare/old stuff and i think the boys will be happy that they get to do a mixture of the usual popular ones as well as go back and re-learn a few old classics.

T? rule! Even The Manics have stopped being meaningful to all but their most dedicated of fans, T? are still doing it and doing it well.

F**k politics, let’s rock!

I’m pretty sure there aren’t any screamager haters around here. It’s just that us, the real fans, love pretty much everything the guys have recorded in their carreer and we just wanted to hear that other equally excellent stuff in stead of the great songs we get to hear every time we go and see our favourite band live. Going to a T? concert is more an act of paying respect and loyalty than having a good night out nowadays. Everyone knows what songs are certainly played. If THERAPY? ever decide on doing a Greatest Hits tour, they shouldn’t change much to their current setlist.

7 songs of 1 album played live is just too many.

Cut it down to 4 and how good their rendition of Isolation might be, it’s still nothing but a cover. Same goes for Diane, play Loose, Bad Mother, Misery or Me VS You instead for the love of God.

THERAPY? have 11 albums, if they take 2 songs from each album, they can play for more than an hour and a half. This would be my perfect setlist:

Skyward
Animal Bones
Fantasy Bag
Potato Junkie
Nausea
Disgracelands
Screamager
Femtex
Moment Of Clarity
Bad Mother
Lonely Cryin’ Only
Safe
Six Mile Water (in stead of Diane)
Sister
Dance
Endless Psychology
Stand In Line
If It Kills Me (in stead of Die Laughing)
Dead
Long Distance
Deluded Son
Rain Hits Concrete

What a great night would that be.

Well, I guess the last post demonstrates the whole thorny issue of setlists perfectly, cos for that particular WoMble, that is the ideal setlist, whereas for me there would be plenty of toilet-break opportunities there!

I gave up on hoping bands would play the exact songs I want at gigs a long time ago and told myself to just enjoy seeing them for the overall experience - you get more out of a gig that way.

ALL the songs except for Lonely, Cryin’, Only, Evil Elvis and Suing God were on EVERY setlist from the fall-tour 2003. If they let you choose from all those great songs they haven’t played in ages (or never before) are we not allowed to be a LITTLE bit dissapointed about the webgig setlist? I’ve got 13 bootlegs(video and audio)with the same setlist already :(

But anyway, I’m still curious about how they’ll do it without an audience, I hope they make it worth it.

Yes, that would be one hell of a setlist, just add Jude the obscene, Suing god and Innocent X:)

It’s just an example of a setlist. Only the “2 tracks of each album”-rule should be applied throughout the tour.

Is that true? I saw them but can’t remember! I know Moment of Clarity was played.

The more I hear about this, the more I can’t help thinking ‘I wish Opal Mantra was on there’ so i might leave now! :)

It bugs me Screamager made the cut. You’ve got Scobophobia, and you’ve got every T? gig EVER (ahem… 1994->) not to mention an audio recording FOR FREE FROM THIS FRICKIN’ SITE!!!

‘…but I really wanna hear them play Screamager/Knives/Teethgrinder/Die laughing/Nowhere/If it Kills Me’

That’s really not a problem; you’ll have plently of opportunity, so how about not SQUANDERING OUR ONLY CHANCE TO PICK GREAT SONGS THAT ARE RARELY PLAYED!!!

ARGH!!!

Ah well, all the other choices are pretty sound-ish. Glad to see Straight Life getting picked. Missed that tour.

…still doesn’t make up for the loss of Neckfreak though. At least we know they’ve been considering playing it. Hopefully next tour.

My personal choice would be… irrelevant.
