As mentioned in the previous post, JetAudio can do that. If you are really cool you could use several Linuxapps for it as well, but that means hard work for most non linux users.

There are some tools for that. I just downloaded the “mega sound recorder” for example. It contains some spyware (like the old kazaa), but after deletion of that, it still seems to work fine. There are probably tools without anything like that out there, just google a bit, “record” and “soundcard” for example.
