I demand to know why Mr Anna isn’t in the poll, since she is the goddess of all things percussive??!

I would have voted for Mr Anna, but instead I have voted for tubthumper, because Colin? made me think he didn’t have any votes, and it turned out not to be true!

edit: Sorry tubthumper - I didn’t mean it to come out like that, I’m sure you are an excellent thumper of tubs. I’m sure you all are :)

Well come on what a stupid thing to say…not at all bitter as the vote wasn’t in someones favour:rolleyes:.. . like anyone gives a fuck. I’ve heard some of the peoples bands on WoM and they seem pretty cool, not all of them to my taste… just like my shitty band won’t be to everyones… but the fact that someone is making music is cool in my books.

anyway Dan you want a band war? Hows your group doing ready to unleash it to the youth centres of your local town or still waiting for your first fan to play to?;)

oh you cold hearted bitch!! :D You KNOW i’ve been banned from all the youth centres and the police made me stop playing to folk!! My intentions were entirely innocent!!

But erm no, i haven’t any plans of the sort. :p We need to get some more songs on myspace actually, we’ve had the same ones on for months and i hate those! :D We’ve got near enough 50 tracks in the archives. Old Taunty Kevs gonna pull his finger out i think and get ‘em changed in the next couple of weeks. I’m working on some new ones at the mo, i will keep you posted mr divers. ;)

How about you mate, anything new on the go?

*remember this was supposed to be a war*

At The moment still writing for my new band, I have 5 songs that the arrangements are done, and another two which need some work and the other guys have a few they are working on so it’s sounding good. I’m currently programming all the beakbeats and other drum programming… which we may hand over to some Drum and bass producer to tweak and make better. We are sort of planning on 10 songs about 45mins of music, we just need a theme and then write the lyrics to follow the theme which will be the next stage. Then some friends who are into making films (plus the guitarist as he wont shut up about the fucking thing) are going to make one long music video for the whole album..but that is in the planning stage. Some Label the guitar player is friends with seems interested in signing us as he distributes through EMI…but i’m not sure about the deal at the moment and don’t really want to think about it till it’s all done. Which will be a while as we are still doing home demos at this point.

There you go.. we haven’t even a band name yet:)

oh yeah insults…hmmm you play guitar like a retarded mole? (i’m struggling as you can see)

Sounds great! good luck with it.

But, er… beakbeats? :D ‘And tonight on drums and samples, we have Big Bird, from Sesame Street!’ He would have to fly over especially, obviously…

Yeah in pitchshifter/ministry/prodigy vain (beats/drum programming wise anyway) just trying something different… may try mixing live drums in as well which may involve mr stan but we shall see.:)

Sounds good. Well not literally, of course, but the idea sounds good. It kind of depends on what you try putting over the pitchshifter/ministry/prodigy-style drums. ;) Showtunes, for example, would probably be a bad idea.
