Well i’m not ashamed of it… As far as his time in the Misfits he was a genius.. and his first few Danzig albums and the last couple are really good I think (it was the middle years which are shite). It’s just a case that him as a person he is a first prize cock and constantly gets decked by support acts or members of Def Leopard.

Erm…no. being sexually attracted to people of the same sex makes you gay.
Listening to Dresden Dolls makes you…
Actually, I know fuck all about them, so I can’t really comment, but it’s a poor name for a band :D
Are they a German New York Dolls tribute band..?

I don’t listen to their recent stuff, they are metal pop for teenage goths who hang around town centres etc. etc., but I’ve been listening to Cradle of Filth’s first album, The Principle of Evil Made Flesh.
I got this when it first came out in ‘94 I think, and had forgotten what a great album it is. Proper melodic black metal.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought they come from the Boston area. Crap name, but they ain’t that bad. The singer actually looks rather hot (in a sick kind of way) and she wears very very short skirts and sits at her piano with her legs *starts sweating* erm… you know… I think Allroy is/was abig fan of theirs.

Yes, pretty much a consistent downward curve after that album. I like roughly up to Cruelty and The Beast, but Principle… is the only album where I don’t despise Dani Filth’s voice.

I lost interest with that album as well…Dusk And Her Embrace was quite good but I much prefer,as you say, Dani’s vocals, and the less polished production of TPoEMF. Plus they were being more evil and less ironic in the early days :) Some really nice orchestral/instrumental bits in it too.

Not really, they’re doing a kind of Brecht/Weill-inspired music with some punk attitude, just piano and drums.

One of the greatest albums ever recorded. And one of the noisiest! Well it’s not quite as noisy as ‘Endless Nameless’ by The Wildhearts but it’s pretty close!
Classic.
