vive la france.

well, i must say, for Paris …especially compared to Paris a few years back…the show was nice.
well, in my opinion it was nothing compared to a show in Belgium, the Netherlands or Germany, but it was much much better then expected!!!! And it seemed the Guys really enjoyed it as well…

Highlight for me was Sister, although i think that Andy played s.th else there :p and Breaking the law!!!

And nice to meet all the wombles again (Panzer, soul doubt friend, evilbeast…and i think interzone, is that possible. we couldn’t stay any longer to have a chat with you guys, as we had to get out of paris as quick as possible (getting out is luckily way much easier then getting in)…and thanks to some red bull we made home without stopping.

I don’t agree with that.
The crowd can’t be compared with the Belgian, Dutch or German audience, but wasn’t worse or better, just different (though the number of crowdsurfers was better :D).
The quality of the gig was far better than a regular gig in Belgium, Holland or Germany in my opinion.

Well, let’s see if the concert in Strasbourg will be better with some eventual German reinforcements ;) (Germany really close to this town).

@PanZer:yeah,you missed the “Man”.He came at our table and of course, interzone and I were excited like kids :D

No I don’t agree,I was more relaxed this time than the first time we met them after the “Arthur et les Pirates” session and less insane than when we were on their tourbus :p

maybe the crowd was quieter but it’s not due to the town…because I have seen T? in Marseille and 2 times in Paris for semi-detached and there was headbanging and pogo…
The crowd was quieter because all the kids were in bed, it was monday, and more of that there was the Placebo gig in Bercy.

So everybody that night were here to see his favorite band…there was more mature people than kids. we were captivated by the gig, and the band noticed so they give us a great show.

As of the begining people were sending love by shouting “Andy”. Sign of respect because he is always here since all these years and doing the same kind of music.

Andy the “Lemmy” from U.K ;-) rock on!

I just found out a traintrip to Strasbourg and back would cost me 117,60 euro, and then I don’t even have a place to sleep :(

I can’t get enough of these French gigs, especially not after Andy said they’ll change the setlist every night!!! So I’m still looking for a cheaper solution… anyone else from Belgium going (who is also leaving from Belgium)?

The Lemmy from Ireland you’ll mean? Lemmy IS from the UK ;)

Excellent gig in Paris, much better than Vauréal, great atmosphere but I don’t see why the “quality of the show” would be better compared to a show in Belgium ?????

The guys seemed to have a great time on stage, too bad we had to leave straight after the gig but I had to be in Brussels at 12.00 CET and first had to stop in Germany to “deliver” Roxy :D

All in all a great experience, nice to also see Panzer again :)

Special thanks to Roxy for helping me in and out of Paris and for being the best girlfriend I could ever dream of :)

Hye RobbyVDH,

Why would you like to compare to France-played-shows with the ones played in Belgium ? There’s nothing to compare to.
I’ve been at Brussels for NANE tour in 2004, that’s right it’s diferent. That’s all. Except about this concert at “La Maroquinerie”, everybody’s had some huge fun, all of the audience and I dare to think the band too, so all of us ‘ve taken some maximum pleasure to be all together and share pleasure to be all together around the same common point.

2 years ago, Franck Black has played in front of 300 people in a small town close to mine. 3 month later, he’s played in front of 50 000 people with Pixies at Werchter (I’ve gone there).exactly the same for Killing Joke. They’ll play 2 days after T? at Caen in France and neverthless they played with Dave Grohl - I can promise you he isn’t nothing here in France with Nirvana and Foo Fighters and his appearence like drummer of the Queens of the stone age. So, there’s nothing to compare.
All of us have taken some maximum pleasure and I hope there will be any other ones.

I was at this show. A great moment !

I talked few minutes to Michael, just before, said him I love Ireland. He answered with a big smile :
“oh, it’s a nice country. See you later !”
I was just in front of him.

It was cool to hear old songs, acoustic versions, and “breaking the law” just before “nowhere”.

Could anybody remember me the exact playlist of this show ? It would be very cool !

I’m french, and searching for other french fans.

See you later !

I’ve got 30 cd of therapy? ! (albums, singles, compils…), but a short memory !

I was just in front of Michael, and when I tried to read his playlist, he put his feet on it !

But he’s a nice guy, my favourite bassist ! I talked to him, he’s cool and friendly.
During the show, I gave him a brush of Ozzy (he’s a metalhead). He thanked me, laughed, and gave it to his roadie.

Have a niceday !
