I saw the Pleasure Death artwork poster while on holiday. I almost bought it, only it was too expensive (about £4.50) and I couln’t really carry it in a backpack for two weeks. Does anyone know where I can get this poster for cheaper? Preferably in London (poster shop locations would be appreciated). Thanks.

I found a few months ago in a sale a ‘die laughing’ poster for a ‘Donington’ gig. It’s 1m x1.5m and I got it for ?10. At the same place I found 5 ‘Infernal tour 95’ stickers.

Non are for sale, sorry.

I have Infernal Love’s album cover poster. It’s about 180 cm. long. I found it in a music shop I worked 5 years ago. And also, before T? concert in Ankara, a guy brought a poster of Nowhere single cover with same dimensions as mine. Andy and Michael signed it!

There’s an official one hanging on a wall in my old bedroom in my parents house! I thought they’d rip down all my posters and renovate the room when I left, but it’s the same as the day I moved out - weird!

I’ve also got 2 Infernal Love posters, Nowhere poster, Troublegum b&w tour poster, Fan club 95 poster, 2 HUGE posters for Opal Mantra and Face the Strange, and a poster for their Cork 98 gig. I’ve no room for them all of course, but I like having ‘em!

Heh heh

I have huge Stories and Troublegum posters, medium Pleasure Death and Nowhere ones (both unofficial), small Semi Detached and a Troublegum one which came free if you bought the album in HMV, it has pics of the singles at the bottom. I will have the fanclub one but it’ll be in my stash of T? memorabilia that no one is allowed to touch ;)

Anyway, I think it’s very sweet of of your parents. My sister hijacked my room before I’d even moved everything out, though I think that was just a cunning ruse to nick my stuff.

Nah, it’s just laziness on their part. Trust me! :-)

if you are on tour for T?-shows and take a look at the city where they are playing you can mostly find posters in several shops ( or tourist-centres ) and just have to ask- mostly they give it to you for free.
but i guess this goes only for up-to-date posters :-)

A large (about 6.5 feet high) poster of the Teethgrinder single cover. Supposedly they were for hanging in subway tunnels. I’ve also got a smaller poster of the troublegum cover.

I see them quite often on eBay, for about $5 USD.

Dude, were you at the Sheffield gig too?? Hot diggerty damn, i knew if i hung around here long enough i’d run into someone who’d been to that gig! It was kick-ass, wasn’t it? I was on the front row, getting squashed and having a dead ace time! But i forgot my camera, and i didn’t bring anything i could’ve got signed. Never mind, it was still the best gig ever.

MOst of the other bands i like are heavier - i like Machine Head and Coal Chamber and people like that. Right now i’m listening to the new album by the Murderdolls, because it’s the funniest thing i’ve heard in ages. Also like QOTSA, Foo Fighters, Union Underground, Mudvayne, oh heck loads of people! T? have always been my favourite though, ever since i heard Troublegum when i was 14, although last year was the first time i saw them in concert. Would’ve loved to have seen Nirvana, that would have kicked ass, but i was a bit young then… :D

Why is it that girlfriends/boyfriends/significant others never like the same music you do?? It’s weird. I’ve never been out with anyone who has the same musical taste - my ex-husband liked Trance, eugh!!!

There’s nowt wrong with listening to early stuff by Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, or anything else like that! I get so sick of *kids today* who refuse to listen to anything older than four years ago. I started stealing my dad’s old vinyl (hey, i have a turntable, he doesn’t, it’s only fair) and listening to stuff like the Stranglers, Talking Heads, AC/DC… back when punk was young and fantastic!

As for the boyfriend/girlfriend vs music thing… maybe it’s just me. But none of my regular friends like the same music as i do, and neither do my family (not even my dad!), and neither has anyone i’ve ever dated. In fact, the only person who comes anywhere close is my 3 year old son - i’m training him well! He loves the Troublegum album, but his favourite is the Face the Strange EP because he thinks the cover’s really cool! Guess there’s some hope for the younger generation after all… :D

When I was young and naive, my mate said he’d come to see T? with me if I saw the Manic with him, and could he borrow Shortsharpshock, Face The Strange and Opal Mantra. The next day he gave me my cds back and told me not to worry about the Manics, and so it’s been ever since with my friends. That said, whenever they want to seem a bit altenative and daring (!) they seem to try to get my approval of their latest Stereophonics/Travis/other MOR band purchase, and always seem disappointed when I tell that they’re still being dull. After all, that’s what friends are for.

Never did get to see the Manics, but am hopefully going to in December.
