Not me, I hate them almost as much as I hate Ocean Colour Scene, which, let me tell you, is a LOT.

I saw them support The Charlatans at the wolves civic early in the year, the lead singer loves himself far too much for my liking.

:D Nowt mate, was just an easy gag cos it fitted with the previous post.

..although I do think Tim B has a pretty weak voice, but that’s just a personal taste thing. Definitely much worse bands in the world, even if the Charlies ain’t my bag.

Hahaha, nah I’m not.

I just know what I like and I really do not like those bands at all.

They’ve both got far too much ROLL and not nearly enough ROCK.

If you know what I mean!!? ;)

Dennis,

I’d never compare the charlatans to the roses, no comparison at all. Brown/Squire/Reni/Mani win everytime!

There were some good indie bands in the 90’s but for every roses/oasis there was a menswear or ocean colour scene.

Surely no one here could dislike Supergrass or Pulp? surely not?!?!?!?!?

And yeah, quality band - “Moving” is one of my faves of the lesser known songs.
Richard III too…Pumping On Your Stereo…wow, I forgot how many good songs they did!

I’ve seen him a couple of times driving away from the Molineux in his flash Merc or BMW or whatever it was..(my wife’s a season ticket holder, and I go and pick her up, once I have finished my knitting and handbag shopping)

Dennis, handbag shopping is favourable to being at the Mol at times i tell ya!

Think he has an Audi R6 as i see him in it (parks by the wanderer pub), always smoking a roll up. fair play to him for not being a rock star wanker and still mixing with the masses.

I have never been in the Prince Albert, so I couldn’t comment.
