Apart from that i’m not fussed! I would like them to do another Nurse type record. Metal meets pop with dub bass and twisted production! That would be awesome! Oh, and with the low tunings of recent albums!

How cool would that be?! Come on Cairns - get sick with it!

The new album needs to be different than NANE (aggressive), Infernal Love/Troublegum (Melodic) and just no Britney Spears. Ever.

Best to have something new.
Maybe a new album, 1/3 acoustic, 1/3 twisted & demented & 1/3 live? Or just a mix.
It’d be nice. :)

Or an album of covers?

It could be a good idea…But I think they’ll try something different from their previous works.

Some punk, some metal, maybe some acoustic, some instrumental, killer riffs n solos as well as drumming, samples, ballads - the lot. Epic sounding perhaps?

But I think that is the real reason Therapy? have that “?” at the end… you’re never gonna expect whats coming next, what ever the tunings or production is in place :)

You simply can’t pin this band down

Or even better, grindcore, with britney spears style backing vocals.

I heard a few people compare Never Apologise Never Explain to Nurse. I guess I kind of hear it.

Not sure what I’d like to hear them do next. Maybe some electronic experimentation. Or something epic. Songs more like “A Moment of Clarity.”

I liked the darker more epic side of therapy, like on the infernal love album… Although I do also like those songs that after a while you suddenly realise that you re suddenly having a therapy song in your head.. That it suddenly turns out to be quite a catchy chorus for instance…

OCFA was good, but lost its aggression. NANE was a aggressive album with pop like melodies, and I hoped that they would do that with their last release. Still, there’s always next time (hopefully next year).

As an older fan, I’ve got to agree with this: For me T?’s original appeal was their stark, surreal rawness, that fear of the dark anxiety. The boys could do with rediscovering some of their old neuroses, methinks!
