Sorry, but how is it a web gig if we couldn’t watch it on the web? Surely that just makes it a gig the was recorded.

I was under the impression we could watch the gig live on the web, then buy it at a later date.

i was wondering the same question… but i guess it’s a “Web-Gig” because it’s the people’s set-list, we decided and not the band.

As stated in the beginning of the thread and in the newssection, you can download singel tracks. On the other hand, I’d prefer the whole gig, and get the sleeve as a bonus per post…

maaan, i might be little late with this but the song list of the gig is kinda dissapointing.

people had a chance to vote for some rare stuff that never has been played on t? shows but it ended up as a usual gig. with a few exceptions most of those songs you can see and listen to on the scopophobia dvd, if you never been to any live gigs yerselves.

dont get me wrong i love all the stuff but we had a rare chance to make something different out of this and that final song list looks like your average mtv viewers choice…:(

I wholeheartedly agree. This was THE chance to get them to play some rare stuff live. Instead it became a greatest hits set (with some minor exceptions). ah well, better than nothing I suppose.

Yes, this was a chance for the more obscure songs to be played, but remember, this voting was open to everyone, not just WoM members.

Songs like Screamager and Teethgrinder are the most popular Therapy? songs, obviously ‘casual’ fans would vote for these songs. Even if they are on the DVD.

Therapy? are doing this for us, and I think we should respect them for that. :)

Come on lads, stop being so negative.

And as for T? - maybe if they see some of our disgruntled comments they might include a few rarer songs into the set list at a normal gig. ;)

Nothing but respect for T?, don’t get me wrong. It just pisses me off that people voted for all the regular songs instead of buying Scopophobia and watching that or going to see a gig for that matter.

That being said: Yay webgig! wooo! :D

i think that next thing t? should do is just record a 90min gig of them playing only screamager so that all the true fans could enjoy it.

btw, why you always have to make it about the band? i personally love the idea of web gig. what i dont like is that there i’ll hear all the same stuff i heard on dvd and live shows and its people voted to blame not the band. i was aware that the band left the choice on voters.

hate it or love it but thats my oppinion, man.

I think Hooch has said before.. the audio is finished but they are still editing the video.. so no release date has been currently set. It does take time to do this sort of thing, especially if they want to do it well..so just be patient:)

I’m sort of in two minds about the track list, one one hand I agree with the people that say there is no point including the tracks that were on Scopophobia, becauser they’ve already done them- and it was great.

At the same time, I’m not sure it’d feel like a Therapy? gig without Screamager. Certainly if I went to a T? show and they didn’t do a few of the Troublegum tracks, that we all know so well I’d be disapointed, because they’re the ones the place goes nuts for (although if you ask me, I’d rather they did play more diverse sets than the Troublegum/Latest Record sets that they always done when I’ve seen them).

Glad to see Evil Elvis in there, that was one of my votes, I only have 6 or 7 T? singles so I didn’t know that many of the B-sides.

My ideal choice? Our Love Must Die, from the Loose single. Just because I use that track on mix-tapes all the time.

Evey day I come to this site hopeing ang praying that the web gig would be posted.:(
And every day I leave dissapointed.
Now they were editing the video in October and I am sure it would’nt take three months to do unless Andy had another bad hair day :D

So is it going to be a christmas present now? or is their a problem ?

Well I think they are editing the stuff themselves..and they only got off tour last month..so it would have only been a few weeks i’m guessing that they started. Also it does take a long time to edit an hours worth of footage well… depending on how many cameras and so on. Given at my work it can take a few days to do a 30sec commercial and they editors are doing it all day…this is a 70min gig and they are doing it inbetween there daily lives..may give an idea of how long it could take. I’m sure it’s on it’s way:)
