So which is the best Star Wars film then? Remember, Eps 1 & 2 (and presumably 3) are technically indie films…

(Before changing the message boards’ software in August 2007 this discussion contained a poll, which may return in the future)

except Episode 2. That one is crap. Episode 1 isn´t that good too, but not as bad as the sequel.

That scene with Anakin`s mother has to be one of the most horrible ever in a star wars movie. The dialoges of the “love story” are also unbelievable bad. The last 15-20 minutes are ok imho. Seeing Yoda fighting wasn´t as ridiculous as I expected. :D

I’d like to add, I think the new effects suck goat ass.
There’s just too much of them. It doesn’t fit or something.
If you compare this with, say, lord of the rings. The effects were functional…here they overdosed it.

Wow, Return on the Jedi got more votes than i would’ve expected! It’s always been my favourite. I love the walkers, and the stupid ewoks, and everything!

It just goes to prove Dante from Clerks wrong - there is such a thing as a happy ending… :D

I wasn’t entirely sure which one it was I liked but I could only remember the plot of one so I asked “What’s the film where he has is arm cut off and it’s his dad” and was reliably informed it’s Empire Strikes Back, so I think that’s my favourite.
