#

Started by Gimme Back My Brainsaw (Mike Hunt)

I wanna dread my hair, i’ll have to use synthetic hair though as my hair isnt of a long length (i’d say its medium length) but have no idea what to do, does anyone wanna tell me what to do or even come and do it for me?

Mate I used to have cancer of the hair for a few years.. they do become a pain in the arse after a while and they do take a bit of looking after if you don’t wish to smell like one of the levellers.

I had help as my girlfriend was a hairdresser.

Check this site out hopefully it will answer all your questions as i can’t be arsed to write any down.

Sorry… actually on topic - please don’t put dreads in your hair, Gimme, they’re disgusting. :)

There’s nothing wrong with normal hair. Preferably short, normal hair. I dunno… bleach it or something?

Dreads don’t have to smell. Its a common misconception that dreads only work if they aren’t washed. This isn’t true. In fact clean dreads knot up faster and are easier to manage. You just have to use dread shampoo that does not have conditioners in. I use either Dreadheadhq or Knotty Boy shampoos on mine which you can find on the internet (ebay) easily.

Dreads are quite a lot of work for the first 6 months, but then it’s easy as hell, easier than normal hair actually. Oh and don’t use synthetic hair, thats not real dreads. Even with thin hair you can make dreads because as they develop the puff up.
