Dreads don’t have to smell. Its a common misconception that dreads only work if they aren’t washed. This isn’t true. In fact clean dreads knot up faster and are easier to manage. You just have to use dread shampoo that does not have conditioners in. I use either Dreadheadhq or Knotty Boy shampoos on mine which you can find on the internet (ebay) easily.

Dreads are quite a lot of work for the first 6 months, but then it’s easy as hell, easier than normal hair actually. Oh and don’t use synthetic hair, thats not real dreads. Even with thin hair you can make dreads because as they develop the puff up.
