What 4 songs should T? have on their myspace?

#

Started by Fuzzeh (Jack)

In my honest opinion the 4 songs up there at the moment aren’t representin’ them as much as they could.

So what four would you have up there to appeal to as many as possible or whatever, or to get interest for the band?

Personally I’d have…

Deluded son or walk through darkness (off the new album and both uber accessible and strong tunes from the album).

Innocent x or nurse (interesting, not really of a straight genre. 2 of t?’s best songs and from early on in their career.)

Nowhere or Nobody here but us (catchy, awesome.. etc)

and finally

Jude the obscene or bad mother (probably not 2 of their most well known songs but worthy of being put up. Different yet accessible.)

So.. thoughts?

Those are the songs I can recommend at the moment for “newcomers:)
But I can tell that Long distance is probably the track which has “touched” myself most of all T? tracks! I can recommend it to anybody, it´s so beautiful, catchy, etc…you name it!

True that, not bad choices, not *that* keen on “if it kills me” myself though - I think it would be good for them to have a range of their sound.

A mix of old and new.

Screamager has to go on there, really, for newcomers..
Also something off OCFA, to show where they’re at now (maybe Walk Through Darkness) and maybe something early like Teethgrinder and something off NANE too, as that was a big success with the WoMbles, maybesomething a little bit less obvious like Polar Bear - yes it divides opinion amongst fans, but is htat necessarily a bad thing…?

No point putting obscure stuff on there, that is for people to discover as they get further into the band, although I do like the idea of using live versions, so that established fans have something “new” to hear.

Obviously they should probably put a couple of new songs up since that’s what most bands do to promote whatever album they’re currently promoting. So I guess I’d say probably two from One Cure Fits All (probably any combination of “Sprung,” “Deluded Son,” and “Rain Hits Concrete”) and then a couple of older songs. Maybe “Die Laughing” or “Stop It! You’re Killing Me” and either something more aggressive like “Rise Up” or something vintage like “Teethgrinder.”

For a band in T?’s position i’d probably go for the ones people may have heard on the radio, Nowhere, Screamager then maybe Lonely Cryin Only and If It Kills Me.

Would be cool to hear some b-sides tho since i don’t own any!

I’d say two old ones (Screamager and Potato Junkie will represent that) and more recent stuff from NANE and OCFA.
