Good to see so many people listening to Songs For The Deaf. My album of the year so far, definitely. Wish I had the cash to see ‘em live. Saw them on Jools Holland last night and they were killer.

I have an album of his project with Bill Frisell and Wayne Horowitz: Naked City. It’s really great, does bonehead sound like it?

does anyone listen to Dillinger Escape Plan. They were the support acto n System Of A Down’s European tour. They released an Ep last month. Mike Patton sings in that EP. They’re fucking great. They also made a cover version of Aphex Twin’s Come To Daddy in that EP. But, sorry I forgot the name of the EP

i did a while ago (that ep is called ‘irony is a dead scene’ by the way), and it indeed is very ok; brilliant band, but especially patton does a great job!

I haven’t heard Naked City, Bonehead sounds like the noise stuff Zorn has released. It’s really demented. This song (along with Hellraiser) appeared on Michael Hanneke’s film, Funny Games. I will always remember that scene: there is a family in their car, heading for their country house and they ‘re playing a game where they have to guess which song is playing (it’s classical music). Suddenly Bonehead starts and the captions begin to roll. Mayhem.
You should also check out the film, those of you who haven’t. But be prepared, because it doesn’t really generate pleasant emotions. First time i saw it, i almost beat up my friend who proposed it to me. It’s become one of my favorite films now though.
