No, I have no reason to believe that the actor will die - but I am hedging my bets that the character will.

I don’t remember reading that the death race contestants had to be real.

You also can’t put two people down for one entry

Would have been better to let Divers sort this all out as he knows what he’s doing.

I would personally say that fictional characters shouldn’t be allowed, though I don’t think it’s been mentioned yet…

To be honest mate I’d be happy for you to start the Death Race 2007 (with full rules)…I’m sure Divers wouldn’t mind.

Wait for Divers - I’ll phone him and tell him to crack on with it :)

And you probably won’t be allowed Peter O’Toole, for reasons that I will not share but I will tell Divers :)

Morning I just been asked to get some order to this thread, thanks for starting it for me squall:) but it is best to explain things for new people.

Here are the rules again with some small changes for the points and if all entries can be in by the end of Jan that would help stop any unfair advantages gained by joining the game the day before someone famous dies.

Death race 2007

Pick ten famous people most likely to pop their clogs this coming year. Prioritise for maximum points. So if you think Paul Daniels (please god it must be his time!!) is the mostly like to be pushing up daisies this year, make him your number one. Only ONE person so bands or couples don’t count, and if you choose a fictional character then we shall all laugh and point at you:p

1 10 points
2 9 points
3 8 points
4 7 points
5 6 points
6 5 points
7 4 points
8 3 points
9 2 point
10 1 point

Plus pick an additional Wild card - someone under 60. For this you get 10 points

Eg. in 2003 if you had the following you would have had 21 points

1 Roger Moore
2 Charles Bronson (9 points)
3 The Queen
4 Paul McCartney
5 Robert Palmer (6 points)
6 Ozzy Osbourne
7 Jonnie Cash (4 points)
8 Margaret Thatcher
9 Bob Monkhouse (2 point)
10 Bill Clinton
Wild card - Simon Cowell

Good Luck and enjoy:)

Now that’s the spirit of the game I’m looking for… fun gained through others mistakes and misfortune.

Well it looks like the thread will have to stay this way, if certain people weren’t so eager to start it (with good intentions i’m sure)and waited for me like i said then they wouldn’t of fucked it up and uproar would have been adverted:)

Anyway on with the game.. and squall you need to pick one more for your list and a wild card as I’m guessing you still want Watts and jagger on your list.
